i don't have the best computer in the world and thus sometimes when i'm running the game, the game will stop responding for a few seconds while loading. i don't think it's fair that that should take away from my, or anyone else's runs. i think it would make a lot more sense if the leaderboards started ranking runs by time w/o loads as to keep an even playing ground for all players no matter how fast their PCs might be.

A new MC level 20 WR seems to have been accepted despite it not even being the right game. Is there anything more to say? It's just not the right game and should never have been accepted.

i don't exactly count my CPS when i run. i could try to recreate the skip and get a counter for it but i really have no clue. furthermore, i've just realized that it's probably not the input RATE that matters but rather the NUMBER of inputs while on the loading screen. in otherwords, if you have the same CPS but a longer loading screen, you can skip further.

essentially what waiting does from my understanding is it allows you to initially left click the arrow and continue mashing while simultaneously mashing the spacebar. since, as chaka said, the input rate matters as to how many levels you skip, this can almost double the number of levels skipped and, in my case, can even allow you to skip up to 8 levels.

In the level 18 IL CMG leaderboard, there's a run that claims to be done in 8 seconds, 94 milliseconds and i can't verify this myself as the proof is in a google doc i don't have access to but i do happen to know that 8.094 is not an achievable time in the game so i can only assume it's a typo that is meant to read "8.940" and should be corrected accordingly.

I absolutely agree. I am pretty proud of my WR but it's very obvious that i didn't get it from skill but rather utilizing a skip on a different version of the game and being an ok runner. But honestly, I've thought for a while there should be 2 different categories so it's about time something happened to push for this change to be made.
