I didn't realize it wasn't specified, thank you for bring this to my attention. I have added a line about it to the rules. I don't think we need a separate category for it, since the speedrun would be basically just watching cutscenes.
ILs have been added. Sorry I didn't see this when it was posted.
You can submit and put a link to the image in the Video URL field.
I'll add the invite link to the game page, but I don't plan to run the game anymore. Let me know if either of you are up for taking over as mods. (Also It's probably better to use DMs for this rather than making a forum post.)
I try not to split leaderboards any more than necessary, unless there's enough interest.
You need to request this through the support hub: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/game-adjustment
Under the Sub-Category section choose "To Be Part Of A Series" and add your game there.
Yeah, I haven't got around to running this game properly yet, sorry for the empty leaderboards. There's the official discord but it doesn't have a speedrunning channel, since no one has run the game yet, but you can probably ask them to make one.
Playing through the whole game just to lose to the final boss sounds kinda stupid. I don't think it should be part of any% so I'm making a slight amendment to the rules, now you have to beat Ardo in order for it to count as beating the game. I may add bad ending as a separate misc category if someone wants to run it, but why would anyone
The game is still new, so give it some time. I'll try to finish it within this week and make a decision once I've learned enough about the game.
You can't throw away items, only stock them. If you press X -> Right, there's a tile in the bottom right corner called "Stock" where you can find all the items you stored away.
Oh yeah, and some items like Heikichi's Firework get automatically stocked if you get them while your inventory is full.
Language doesn't make that much of a difference, and I don't think it's a good idea to divide the boards any further, considering there aren't many runs to begin with.
The order of the questions is always the same, but the correct answers are randomized. Knowing basic hiragana and katakana helps, but isn't required. You can also use a cheat sheet like the one I made here: https://www.speedrun.com/moon/guide/3aaxj
Hello, I'd like to request moderation for One Hand Clapping https://www.speedrun.com/one_hand_clapping
I have 2 pending runs, and the current mod hasn't logged in for over a year, nor can they be reached on any other platforms.
Glad to know you're interested!
Fishing contest is almost entirely dependent on RNG, and Xingiskan is just 5 autoscroller levels, so I don't think either of them would make even remotely fun categories. I'm all for it if people can find a way to make them competitive though.
Hello. I would like to request a title change for this game: https://www.speedrun.com/gum_girl
The developer has recently released a new demo and renamed the project "Gumchu Girl" https://caseportman.itch.io/gumchu-girl-demo
