Oh yeah that bounty, That's still up for grabs it seems. Somebody get that 4:54 and use that $50 to buy Willy Wombat on the Sega Saturn
I'd rather sell 454 of my games than go for a 4:54
Now when the hell are 100 people gonna achieve sub 20? We're sitting at 60 which is still pretty good but you know. We need more.
You should have made the bounty for 18:59 or even 18:58 warpless, at least those times will happen.
Those god damn Goo Bitches. Die!!!
That list sounds about right. I'd love to one day see a co-op run with both Sailor Jupiter and Venus and see just how much a run with those two can lower the time on the current record, seeing as the only run (currently only run) of Normal Co-op has both Venus and Mercury.
I asked Kosmic about this on stream once, He said something along of the lines of "when more than 3 people run it" so i guess basically if anyone here is interested in running aisson warpless, go ahead and do it and the leaderboard for it will come soon enough.
I do like the fact that now all runs require a video. In the case of warpless where times under 20 minutes required a video, a time of Say a 19:57 and a 20:02, the effort needed to acquire those sort of times are so similar to each other that I could never see a reason why a low 20 wouldn't require a video, Now of course something like that could be said about any speedrun game that has rules for needing a video under certain times, but that was something I thought about occasionally when browsing through the warpless leaderboard. Thankfully this new rule fixes that all together.
People play on console for usually the same reasons anyone would ever want to own and play retro systems. The question of asking someone why go out and spent money all these old retro systems when you can just emulate all of it has been asked lots of times that general question of course is not restricted to speedrunning only, and while I understand why it's asked, it has been answered before.
Just Wait Patiently, this game is not some Obscure Super Famicom Game or some Unknown and super long Japan only PS1 RPG that would take who knows how long to be verified. It's an active game with very dedicated people moderating it, so rest assured that there will always be hope to get a run verified within a perfectly reasonable amount of time. Regardless of how long you've been waiting.
The finest NES Brick controller one could ever wish for.
The arcade mode in this game is called "Quick Play mode" it doesn't have an in game timer like all the other games. So Real time would be needed and have a rule set similar to the other games. The sooner We can get Quick play mode added to the leaderboard the better.
What do you think would be the fastest possible time for the First Credits Category? Like Would sub 31 be possible? I plan on running this game around April or May, but as of now just trying to figure some random things out.
is it required to submit both real time and in game time for runs? I would most likely submit IGT only, but if they're both required then of course I'll submit both. However, where does the timer for real time start and where does it end?
6 or 7 or so runs are now gone?? This gives me the fear, kinda.
