I mean, it is not about recording or having the best time, it is learning and enjoying the design of the game. There is something very enjoyable there (with music it is better) but it is probably a feeling that I had first time I did it, some people could enjoy it too.

Yes it is faster like this, but in my opinion : learning to survive to the midnight helix is a good thing.

And, hm, if people want to try to do it with Rook, know that he loses everything when he dies, and when you start a new game, but everything is safe if you equip him in the speedrun mode.

Yes, probably, but I don't want to do it, when I did it the first time, it had sense for me, "running in darkness" or something x) (And I should not laugh at it...) so I have no problem with having world record or not, I think the speedrun mode has a real sense in BBI too, but it is just my opinion.

I don't want to do it as Assassin, and hmm... Have to admit the video of "fardo_boingin" (such a name) is still a mystery for me, hope it will be solved a day.

And I am about to run my life in the normal mode, and I don't know if speedrun will be a part of it, so I prefer to keep that I just did there, for remember that probably, or... I don't know.

I think Assassin can do better, with the Assassin's ring for Gale Harness (60 seconds instead of 30?), just saying. (I have some, but dunno really know how it works for trade etc haven't done it anymore.)

For damages, maybe there is some solutions.

(Have to admit, I don't really want to do stuffs with keys, I like doing it within going to take the keys.)

So my augments are :

Morbidity Dexterity Bloodlust (Asura? in french) Grace Flow Leg-Strength

It seems they haven't any effects on that "launch".

With the lightest character, Gale Harness seems faster, so those augments and weight could do a good Assassin too, but as the Ranger throws ten arrows maybe Assassin couldn't do enough damages. I would like to know if the number and timing of Gale Harness are the best possible or if it could be improved.

Sorry for the time of the vid compared to the time of the run and the problems it gives to see clearly the difference of speed, Assassin with Gale harness seems to be still faster, but maybe a run could help to know. (My toaster didn't burnt anything, at this moment, thanks.) (Will try to edit for have segments etc. But with that "Vanilla" soft I am using for editings, sounds like a pain to peel that.)

The keys idea you had is good, but have to try, and doing some files and folders for have a clear way to save everything is not an option I think.

I am doing some vids with MSIafterburner, never had real problems due to overheating since some years I am using it, but I am not using it for long records, like runs.

(I have done a new run as ranger on BBI, will submit when it will be upload on YT)

But I would like to know if there is something with your character weight and the "launch" of the cutting winds, because I am feeling I am going faster than the person in the other run with it, also if the gale harness, but maybe it is just a feeling, or one of the augment I have.

I have submit a run some years ago, and didn't came here to introduce me. But I haven't so much to say about me on here.

Just I am speedrunning Bitterblack Isle of Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen for the pleasure I have to do it, when I have time for it, nothing more.
