I did a Jumpless run for fun and I think it would make a good addition to the leaderboards. Having 2 categories seems fun and i don't think this would do any harm to the current leaderboards.

Back when the system you are proposing was in place, a person was knowingly cheating and it took the SpeedrunningPolice to come in and fix it. Since then there has been a good system in place that actually makes it easier to do offline runs.

Yeah those different. They may have similar effects but they aren't the same. Based on the explanation in the video it is very different than our current understanding of Save Glitch.

well then the rules should be changed to actually make sense. Plus you do have control before when the black screen goes away.

When I was taking another look at the IL leader board I noticed that some of the runs aren't timed correctly. It seems like Jadow forgot to time the "intro" text/black screen at the beginning of some of levels.

In the first one your camera didn't actually clip out of bounds AND you didn't gain any advantage, so it's fine. With the second one you didn't gain any advantage so it's fine I think. It's pretty much the same thing that happens in 10 when your camera clips oob for a fraction of a second.

You might not be landing far enough to the side or just in the wrong spot in general.

Try only starting your strafe while you are in the air and stop strafing after you hit the ground. That's what I do but maybe I'm doing it wrong aswell. :P

Are you running on the unpack or on steampipe?
