I should've taken the small amount of time to clarify the intention(??) with this post sooner rather than later, I apologize for the delay.

Also I didn't get/take the chance to explain fully since there originally wasn't a wish to start this topic back around New Years when we first talked about it with @VideoBad - and due to it being a topic in DMs lately - so;

I would like to think (to the best of my knowledge and beliefs) that there has been a consensus, since earlier heists days (idk when/if ever it has been referenced to), to not lag out, split or switch session (nor take advantage of the "random" splits) or other similar things like switching crew to skip those sort of cutscenes, saving a significant amount of time. Thus making it "required" or so to say to have the mission/setup/finale complete screens, which is what's also skipped here. I also vaguely remember telling someone (Neg?) to not restart the game, to save time with quicker loading, during long cutscenes of the similar kind when I was asked about that specifically (which may be different story, since closing the game could/should mean ending a run too).

So I suggested to bring it up here, whether or not it should be changed/allowed etc. As is I'd reject when/if seen such (it's indeed something I've been looking for in runs throughout the last couple of years tbh).

I found the post to come off more as a question re. "2. should.." and not "1. can..", and guessing not only to me judging by the replies. So here's a bump - and clarification on the topic(??) - if this is to be changed and allowed, I'd like to hear what the active part of our community thinks?? (As this would change-up other categories as well..)

Going according to my past way about things I'll reject the runs using it for now, correcting it later should things be changed of course.

Added the 5 Last Dose missions as ILs. As well added misc. All First & Last Dose Missions.

Added all 6 First Dose missions as ILs. Also corrected name of the 6 Last Play mission series' ILs, all of which was missing Last Play - part.

They were already submittable as solo ILs and All Casino Missions, but still useful info & gonna be neat to see some solo runs 👌

Disconnecting at the end of a run/the finale has been allowed to bypass the cooldown a long while (if not always) for OG/DD/Casino heists and is part of the category rules for Cayo as well (and more, i.e. Contracts too - obsolete for Dre since can't cancel anyway though)

If you'd somehow skip from the start of the setup itself to the end of, sure. Skipping setups completely by buying them, no.

There's currently no IL for only the finales (sounds like what it'd be without preps and setups^^). If you're looking for Elite Challenges on the finales, check the Elite Leaderboard v3 on GTAF.

For sure, but might end up taking until next DLC like the MK2 on Cayo island did ig. These changes each patch etc etc etc, sigh.

For the sake of future proofing runs I was planning to ban the apartment garages after talks with other mods but I've forgotten about it. Reason being this only works in some contracts and not all.. and simply because it seems like a thing that'd be patched out.

Anyone got some thoughts/objections?

Added Contracts category and each of the current contracts within there, both solo and co-op. (Hopefully all correctly done, first time, me noob)

I've taking the liberty to create an Activity Warps variable, to sort whether or not the player(s) have job warped during the preps themselves. Exclusively on the new contracts for the time being.

The same way you've probably seen in mentioned top runs. Multiple CEOs. One being the main host, and other(s) CEO(s) can start different preps and bring the item to the main CEO for him to steal and deliver inbetween other preps.

It seems like it was carried over from the previous run. Canceling mid prep before delivering does that, I believe.

And no it isn't allowed, as it would be NewGame+.

@Inso0610 Invalid means that it's broken/contains invalid data, and thus gives you an error message which is what 'enables' the ability to job warp during preps (you need launch it before each prep you want to job warp in)

@JaZebra, stream overlays/cams and livesplit are most definitely fine, as long as your full gameplay is there then it's good. (Obviously don't go blocking 90% of the screen with fancy overlays, lols).

But i.e. in your latest video it was just fine, no problemo there.

You're free to submit improved time just as a new, ofc will save a little hassle for mods when checking runs if can skip a run that's already obsolete. (Totally not lazy here - will check some pending runs tonight, but might not get through all)

Generally in the rest of the categories, ALL players are part of each setup/mission/prep in other SH Flase runs, I don't see why it shouldn't be the case here. IMHO

By the philosophy of splitting tasks like that, the Act I, II and III 4p runs, to name something, could be 'split' into 2 players doing X setups and the other 2 players doing Y setups. Cutting down on time dramatically.

Heck, what about all casino missions, should a 4p run.. with 2 players doing half the mission and the rest the other half.. be valid?

Not sure how else to put it.

Also to note, it's not just whether or not it gets patched, but the job creator(s) could remove those broken jobs at any given time too.
