b4 you say its pointless

you can't argue with me that some speedruns use luck or any speedruns at all, and eventually some of the runs are just going to be hard to take 1st place on

so my idea of 5 wins should use more skill than luck and if you're asking how its timed its the sum of in-game rounds (like how one starts/stops according to rules) and well if people manage to completely get 5 really lucky rounds then oh well the run should also include lobby throughout so its just uncut footage

also if you think its bad please at least give a reason

this is a more solo thing ig but there should be levelled categories:

  • 1 kill (could be argued)
  • 5 kills
  • 10 kills

lets just say in the video you and somebody else fought against somebody on a different team and that somebody else that you were fighting with got the kill, you would get the +1 kill as well but obviously the videos needs you trying to actually damage the opponent (so no loopholes like hitting them once then running away which doesn't count as a kill) ig kills also count if the opponent isn't full HP

maybe to make things confusing you can have the total amount of kills in a team for another category (solo and multiplier) and party/no party

or just put 1/5/10 kills

i'd like to thank toop for giving me this as he is now retiring

i'm gonna revamp the rules but tell me please if this bad:

so 3 categories

  • new map
  • old map old tools
  • old map new tools

timing at end is not based on what team won, but the last base to be knocked off (because of how inaccurate and delaying the last screen is IDK whats with the game) for the start for public runs it's on first movement and there should be a recording before, say if there was a 2/3/4 player run for public and there's only one point of view the timer starts as soon as a new game is set, unless there's 2 different views, but I don't know whether the time should be set as soon as one of them moves (people could find a loophole for that and that I have to decide whether other players not contributing to the run has done a lot of activity e.g. destroying half a base already so the uploader's runs don't count) or at the start of the game

for private runs solo I guess they are the same and tell whatever is wrong etc
