I think it's fine. Regardless of disc speed, Playstation runs will never be faster than PC and there's always IGT to approximately judge which runs are faster without loads.
Like Packle said, George and Remedy's 100% runs were done in the SGDQ14 practice room. Rem and George were repeatedly getting new PB/WR times, many of which were witnessed by others including myself. They're entirely realistic and legit. I used a DVC100 for streaming/recording runs. It gets the job done.
Skater choice mostly comes down to their special tricks. Rune doesn't have a back or frontflip which are the most easily exploited specials to score lots of points, so comps might be trickier at first. Im unaware how fast his special flip is but it's important that you can land those often. Landing a special trick gives you a small speed boost and flips are the most useable for that. Other than that, THPS1 is welcoming of almost all skater choices, so you do whatever makes you happy.
Good catch. I thought i had fixed that when it was submitted but apparently i only changed in-game time.
Hey! Yeah I was planning on doing so, just been busy and haven't had time to get around to it yet. I'll do it right now and put it in misc.
I'm on it.
Edit: Done. Open for suggestions on rules.

Would it be possible to switch my THPS1 run to THPS2? It would still be on N64 with the same estimate. Since I submitted I've improved in THPS2 enough to have gotten extremely consistent, as well as achieving the best IGT run and best N64 run. It's a more entertaining run to watch for the most part.
