I also noticed something interesting with jumping across the water. You can input a jump before you touch the surface of the water, while speed value is still 2, and you will still jump and retain the speed value of 2 for the entire stretch of water. If you touch the surface of water, speed value instantly drops to 0.
Yes, I like that idea of adding a "No Skips" category. Good news about the final card screens too. Heres that TAS video:
Note I skip the 2nd red mouse and grab him on the way back. Not sure if thats faster but it just worked out that way with my jumps lol. Not very good at routing so this is def improvable, but still probably a bit too difficult of a route to go for in real time, so needs a few changes.
OK I just did a test TAS to time this new skip. I got a final time of 1:46.32. What an insane skip! Props to SatoshiFam for finding this. And yes, the end screen that says "you did it!" doesn't appear here, but the credits still do appear. We should maybe consider changing when to end the run, perhaps on the credits screen??
As for the categories there could be: Any% - Which uses the new skip on "Easy" difficulty Glitchless Any% - old route on "The Easiest" difficulty All Levels - "Easy" difficulty with no skip
we could keep Easier difficulty too, but that one seems to be the least interesting category at this point. Let me know what you think
yes,i believe the final split is as soon as "you did it!" has fully appeared
i think the leaderboard should include milliseconds, since the run is so short. what do you think?
the easiest, easier, and easy
thank u yes id run more difficulties
