I notice other boats actually go a little slower and deploy boosters slower even at level 40. Should the Boat variable be made into a subcategory for this?

Me (Scorpion main) playing as Atomic Avenger, Lil' Kahuna, Dead Wreckoner, Thunderblade, Raw Thrills

I just ran Portal again and recorded demos but for some reason it's writing data as if I'm playing on a mod (ex. from sourcemods folder), so when I playback the demo it says "directories don't match (portal / mod)" But it's running with nothing that's loaded from an external gamedir.

Things I noticed while playing that looks like they either sped up or slowed down my boat, and I want to know if its really what's happening:

• Does not having boosters deployed affect speed compared to when they're deployed but not using the boost, and is it the same with super boost
• I noticed one time I bumped into a wall after going very fast, but I hyperslid, which helped reach the speed I originally had beforehand
• Apparently also if boosting off the ramp after the super boost in QC, it won't allow hypersliding which is required at a large turn just after I might be forgetting some other things related to these, I'll reply with other things I find

• just opened a Discord for this game and speedrunning and some other purposes
