I'm wondering if point runs might be cool. For instance, how fast can you get to 25 or 30 million points in adventure mode? This would work more with the original point mechanic of the game which rewards passing levels on the first try, getting high scoring shots, and hitting the 100,000 fever bucket. Maybe there's less skill involved, though, because you're more at the mercy of peg placement, but I think it would go more with the original point scoring spirit of the game.

By the way, I think it's really cool what you guys are doing here. I had no idea about speedruns (I'm pretty out of it), but it's an amazing way to get into the nuances of the game!
