Heyo,

I've finally decided to take a crack at speedrunning and this is the first game I'm coming to, as it was a childhood favorite. Just a few questions so I'm not totally goofing my runs and not having them count.

• Are we allowed to use the newest version of Project64? I know 1.6 is accepted but what about 2.3.2? And if not, why can't we use the newer emu?

• Is there a specific version of the game we MUST use for it to count? If so, does anyone have a particular recommendation I should go look to download?

Anything else that might be important to know would also be greatly appreciated, thanks!
