United StatesI tend to do better when I'm sick. My first WR I called out of work, slept most of the day, woke up really late PM and started a run. It was a trick run, but I beat the former 15 year old WR by 5000 points. Another occasion I was a bit sick and had been playing poorly in the days leading up to being sick. That day I managed a minor improvement on my first session of play. The best was when I was recovering from a back injury that made me unable to walk or sit too long without lots of pain. I got really tired of being able to do literally nothing but lay down for days. I fought the pain (what was left of it after the muscle relaxer) and forced myself to move around so I'd be able to game. I made great strides in my game despite the setback. It's like...I'm not letting anything stop me from enjoying this day. I'm not gonna lay around waiting to get better. I'm gonna find a better way to pass the time! and getting past that barrier of life telling me no tends to make me more relaxed and play better as a result. I never stay sick for long anyway, and getting up and MOVING seemed to help. Then there's days where you KNOW you CAN'T game, and you just don't for sake of being able to get the rest required to get back to it sooner.

Can there be a block next GDQ of runs that are typically not done? So far I've raised a bit of interest in 1080 avalanche rocket board (usually banned because it's OP AF) that Thursday could do.
I have a few Mario Golf runners who'd like to see the game broken by using Game Boy Color characters (levelled up to 99, can eagle and albatross like crazy). With the power club it is actually possible to hole-in-one on a par 5. Experience gained in 64 does transfer to GBC. This category is typically not run because of transfer pak rarity + insaneness of GBC characters.
- I plan to ask the Goldeneye community if any of them are willing to run GE and/or PD on turbo mode or LTK (irrelevant runs but still amusing, especially LTK since one shot = dead).
Maybe even the sonic community could complete sonic 3 & knuckles using the blue knuckles glitch (unfortunately would likely need to be run on emulator (to allow level select), mostly due to the game becoming highly unstable). I have a blue knuckles save state saved on TSC if emulator approved.
All of these and possibly more could form a "Banned" block, so-called because the methods used for the games are so OP they are almost never run. I imagine at least the first two games to be highly amusing.
Please post other games that have usually banned modes because of sheer brokenness and whether anyone could run them.

Hey I'm arcticfox. I've been speedrunning games...for a while, but mostly as a casual. I run 1080, though lately I've been working on Trick Attack/Contest, which...kinda..defeats the purpose of the site...but I'll do Time Attack at some point!
This is pretty cool, though! I never joined The-Elite or MK64 or the other sites except Cyberscore, so it'll be really fun having everyone in one place.
other things: I found this site through Hayate on Twitter. I used to make videogame walkthroughs / LPs (glitchmethod/arcticfox1985). I record on actual hardware because emulators aren't the same (even when they clearly are). I can't stream yet. Someday...someday. I just reached 1 million combined points on 1080 woohoo!
