How did I not read the article Pearl sent? From what I understand he’s refering to stating that your argument is true based on a lack of contradictions. @Pear seeing as the title changed as I made this thread there’s more pointing to me being right other than the fact that there’s no contradiction.

No need to be reminded. I specifically created my account to adress this. I do think it played a role. There’s nothing contradicting it. People here have said that they’ve been in the discord with cheese so maybe they redirected my message. No problem though the problem has been adressed
Idk who Liam is. If he’s done the same thing he should also change it, still doesn’t change that Cheese was faulty. Btw I commented on Cheese’s old WR 1 month ago, asking him why he didn’t change the title to ”Old WR”. He liked my comment but he didn’t do anything about the title. Hence why I go to this forum as it obviously was more effective. I thought I wrote this but apparently not. As J1 said (dunno if he’s serious or sarcastic), I doubt cheese would change it in the near future if I hadn’t made this forum post. I think I did a favor for the legitimacy of speedrunning. WR-holders in general can’t claim their WR once they’re beaten right?

Hello. If you haven’t noticed Cheese’s old wr still says ”(World Record), even though he lost it to Batora a month ago. I commented this on one of his videos 2 weeks ago, thinking he just forgot about it. He liked my comment yet hasn’t changed it? Imo it’s very disrespectful and immature. Him not changing the title can take a lot of attention and glory away from the rightful holder of the WR. I think this is a speedrun ethical issue which is important to resolve. If more people noticed this maybe Cheese would take the appropriate actions and act in a fair way?
Cheese is the previous WR Holder for SM64 120 star. Batora is the current. I commented on his video so he obviously acknowledged it. But he didn’t fix it. By posting on this forum maybe more people can encourage him to not be a dick
