If the rules don't mention them not being allowed, they are allowed.
If i remember correctly Unreal engine games aren't that hard to mod. If someone in the community has enough programming experience they could make an in game timer that doesn't include loading times (like Livesplit). That wouldn't solve the problem completely because there would still be the quest 2's performance and recording issues but it would atleast level the playing field a bit. (It would also make correctly timing tutorial runs easier)
Ok, i think it's not possible because of the big jump after you're introduced to grabbing. Also the Wallrunning part requires you to jump (Grabbing is disabled there). I do think a Low% would be cool, were you jump as little as possible. Maybe one day we can get it down to 0.
Is it possible? I'll definitely try that out!
Yea, i think i figured most of the movement out by now. Though i had a weird glitch were i jumped really high (might share that in another Thread). I guess there isn't really that much besides the basic movement. Thanks for the answer and i already uploaded some runs (they just need to be verified).
and i watched another tutorial that described it way better than the first one so im going to try again
idk if it now works for me because i cant find a good map to practice on.
Oh i just noticed u Arent allowed to press backwards but i tried with sideways aswell and it still didnt work.
Thanks for replying that fast. I tried with scroll up and scroll down. Still didnt work. Is Holding crouch correct. or do u Need to release it at some Point?
So, i downloaded Source Unpack HL 2 & Portal. I also have the game on Steam (and i think its necessary). but when i start it with Portal.bat and try to ABH its not accelerating. any idea why? (im Holding crouch with v and use a bhop script to autojump).
