There are door skip codes for GameShark. Dual Shock version only I believe.

Question: If I use GameShark Pro 3.0 on my PSX to turn Resident Evil 2 into Biohazard 2, would my run be rejected?

The code that changes the game mode works properly and it's legitimately Biohazard 2 monster placements.

I'm using a physical console with the parallel i/o port. SCPH-7501, manufactured in November 1998, NTSC, with RE2 Dual Shock versions of the game.

This has been a question on my mind for a while now since RE2 has more zombies than Biohazard 2. I thought maybe I'd ask and see what the answer would be.
