Yeah, this weekend I will add that, and probably a mid-range category. I am torn between 25 or 50, being as 100 levels make up the full loop.
Also, I am super excited you are going to run it!
It's definitely a lot of fun, Hopefully, more people will start running it. I'm definitely wanting to add more categories, just have not had the time to run them.
I had also done this; an idea for a category that makes it to the first bonus.... but it is VERY short.
I did not add it as a category as I felt it was too short, however, as I said, I am open to anything that has an interest.
I am open to adding, changing, etc any categories, because this game has 99 rounds (and allegedly no end screen) I decided for a short 10 rounds as a basic start category, although I do intend to make a category for 25 Rounds as well.
IF you have any ideas, suggestions, comments as to what the length or goal of these should be; please post them here!
I'm actually surprised there are so little runs in this game. I definitely need to add it to my list.
I gotta say, that is really interesting, and mad respect to JoshKeys for that run. But as WH said, it kind of just feels like a slower any% route. But I can't stress enough, that is a damn cool glitched run.
This is awesome, being as I have been interested in trying this speedrun out for a while (albeit I haven't got around to it yet) having resources like this really help to grow a game's popularity, so thank you so much for sharing these!
Best of luck, the grind with this game is real, haha. I think that sub 45s would be the fastest (with GOD rng and gameplay) but I don't think I would ever want to grind this that much haha.
Although you should try the new cat too if you don't mind tedious resets, its pretty fun.
As far as I can tell on the LB it is:
PS4: axelblaze13 (7:21) PC: Kasanezumi (7:49) XBOX: None Submitted yet
I was curious if this kind of "sequence break" was allowed. it is good to know it is not.
@Graystripe - That's good. I mean I guess if you are going to "cheat" you need to learn to get comments like that haha. I can only imagine the YT comments are even worse haha. It's funny how toxic people are towards the speedrunning community, yet how supportive we are to each other. Very opposite.
Either way, congrats on the exposure!
That was exhausting! I saved everyone the 20 seconds I wasted :)

After reading the comment section... my word of advice: Don't!
Oh that's awesome! Grats to GrayStripe! Is there a link? or do I have to search like a chump? =P
I just have to say, WOW, that is really cool! Awesome job on this!
I think about 1-2 years ago people might have been on board to get a category like that going. Lately, there are not many Ducktales runners, so I doubt a meme category would gain much attention.
With making most new categories though, run it, see if you can get others to run it. If it catches on, there is really no reason it wouldn't be added. But I don't know if the mods would add it just for one runner with interest in it.
I have made save states for the Everdrive for anyone interested: hey can be downloaded from:

Let me know if they don't work correctly.
Maybe this should be added to the resources section? And did I hear that InfestedRiche had an advanced strat tutorial as well?
8.75 seems to work just fine for me, I mean I have to adjust anyway when I time the run, I just wanted something that was as close as possible from start input to control gain. Although it does seem that 8.80 to 8.90 may actually closer, as my time seems to be between -0.05 and 0.15 off when I have retimed my PBs for submission.
This is awesome, I was checking this game out earlier today, it's on my list of games to start running. A good tutorial is ALWAYS appreciated!
