I'm interested into running this version : a lot of maps are different from PC version so I hope there would be a specific category for this run ?

There is really no player who never have ran this version before ? I can't find any record anywhere on internet;

If you allow me this run, I have 2 other questions :

-First : I would like to do it with the controller but I also have the keyboard / mouse (and I assume it's way much easier with the second). Would you define 2 categories ? I guess no, was there's not enough challenger on this version and the faster way is the faster method and that's all ^^ (even if not everyone can put a hand on dreamcast Keyboard N' mouse).

-Second question : How to record my game on TV ? I do have a mobile home security camera that can record in HD : but shall I focus only on TV or I have to show I'm on Dreamcast / controller ? Dumb question as I only ran on computer ^^ (and I won't show my face too).

I've unlocked Xan and The Corrupt team but I still don't have the 1 minute bug : do you know how to trigger it ?

According to some speedrunner's video, some got only it on the final boss and another got it both on semi-final and final...

And do you know if it's about only Xan or it can occurs with the 2 other boss ? Thanks in advance for help !

Hello, I'm totally interested into a new one : WITHOUT aim-assist, as it's obvious MappleStreet used it; I have nothing against this as it's part of a game but I wonder how many people are able to finish it WITHOUT : I've done it several times, I can improve it , under 6h30 easily...Maybe under 6 hours or close, I'm not able to do better...

I didn't use auto-aim at all ; but I dunno how to reach limit score on the 2 or 3 last map : under snow, in gravitational sky scrappers and on the very last in stadium (which is a bit easier). I can score a few but not much.

I'm and old player of that game and as a tribute I wish to make a speedrun : coz career mode is pretty long without break , specially in gode mode as each match in nervously intense. It's kinda a challenge even If I was surprised to do it twice without much trouble.

I remember how hard it was versus Malcom for the final of 2003 's tournament (but I was 15yo younger :D) whereas on this one i did a perfect vs Xan.

Anyways, I was very surprised of Cobalt's time , MappleSeed2 also is impressive : everything under 5h is a very nice performance for me, even If I can improve by 1 hour around, I can't make it under 7 hours. BUT : as many people spotted, Mappleseed 2 was using auto-aim : which isn't forbidden I guess as it is an official in-game setting.

So I watched Cobaltz's run and there's no hesitation to say he's also using an assist (watch his video at 1m40 : w flack cannon shoots going far right from dot) : which doesn't occurs without assist : all you shoots come right at your crosshair / dot, even if you move your camera fast. He miss some shot but I guess it's not like aimbots, it's not 100% accurate (it's kinda the same as on console with Call Of Duty auto-aim in multiplayer).

And in 3h22 it's still a nice performance and the player knows how to move pretty well.

And as a veteran player, like many other I was kinda disappointed (not to say i stopped watched it after 1 min) because playing this game with an assist, is like driving a Tesla on automatic mode and claiming U did it all by yourself :p These are hardcore games but you don't prove your aiming skill this way.

That's why I'm requesting this :what if we seperate with and without assist mode runs ?

I've already done 2 runs but I need to find a way to win times : I have credits issue, even when I win all tournaments rounds I can find myself in bankrupt... And I'm stuck having to wait till the end of stopwatch in some bombingrun maps (20 min..) I can score but can't reach winning limit points.

Anyways, I'll perform soon (mid of january) and post it here, at least I'll be 3rd :p Too bad there's not many challengers but I don't aim top places, it's a tribute at start. And I'll prove you can finish godlike mode without auto-aim (recording my folder, my 2 system files of that game, right-click and showing path of the .exe to prove I use this folder, then showing in-game setting I don't use autoaim).

Hello ! I was also surprised as it was obvious to me (playing 2k4 since it came out); I would like to try a speedrun too in Goldlike without auto-aim or else cheats; I've done it several times but above 6 hours...

I didn't check Cyborg run too but if he done it without help so I won't be able to challenge but godlike in under 4 hours is impossible for me :D

I would like to know which rules are ? Or we should establish one, the "vanilla" and hardest way : no auto-aim nor aimbot; i was thinking about recording my UT 2K4 folder and opening the system files which allow u to modify a lot of things; then I right-click on my UT 2K4.exe to prove it come from this folder and using these 2 .ini files, showing my in-game settings . I also need to know when does the watchstop starts at : clicking on "career" mode ? Or "play" as soon as I've established my profil ? Did I count time also outside matches ?

Thanks if u could help me to realise it ; shall I use ge-force experience, in-game system called as "demo rec" or else ? Do I need another software ?
