Hiya. Been running other Pokemon games and am keen to give sun and moon a try after watching the anime with my son. I assume emulators are allowed and if so which ones?

So heres the rules: "Runners must start playing the seed no more than 30 seconds after it is generated, or directly after resetting the previous world. If you choose to generate seeds for the next run while attempting the current run, you must send the appropriate world files and logs for the submitted run, and the run directly prior to it (if applicable). If running FSG through repl.it is too slow, it is recommended to run FSG locally."

What does it mean by Run the FSG locally? How do i do that? Because the repl.ir is taking forever

For the story chapter categories what difficulty is the game played on?

I realised another question. I can save before fights and reload if I loss right? I know that will be a massive time loss so I should usually just restart but I was wondering if it is possible.

Heyya all I'm sorry to ask such obvious questions but I haven't had any luck searching the forums. Are you allowed to pause a run? like pause the game and the timer to step away from the computer? Are the Pokémon from the Celedon game corner valid in a No Catches run? Is there advantage streaming my runs to twitch over just recording them?

I’m new to speed running and I’m looking and some of the category extensions and none of the rules seem to mention the daycare. What are the rules for the daycare especially for the no centres/no marts, no catches, and Baton Pass categories?
