Let's say you're entering a room in 8-4 through a pipe. Press left before he comes up so you don't have to do a frame perfect left press and when he's just come up and has just turned to the left release left as soon as you can to prevent him from walking to the left and the frame after you release left (you want a one frame gap between releasing left and the next inputs) press right while doing the smallest jump you can. I hope this could explain it :D

It's a little confusing at first but always remember: press right at the same time you jump. that was the thing I struggled with for the longest time.

I'm using an NTSC version of the game but I was wondering if the filter in Nestopia that makes the game look like it would on an old CRT screen would be allowed to be submitted and verified. For some reason it makes the game run smoother for me. Kind of like what the NES classic has with it's "CRT" filter.

I was wondering if the NTSC filter in Nestopia would be allowed, I found it makes the game run smoother for me and I just really like the look. I apologize if this has been asked and answered a lot but I figured I should make sure before doing any runs with it

Hey Crit! There's a setup that you jump the frame you land and play the rest of the level without slowing down. I know there's another way but I don't personally know it. Hope this helped :)

That's interesting because for me it has almost no input lag

Okay nevermind it might have a frame of input lag. It just seems so different than Nestopia.

It has no input lag! That's actually crazy for an emulator. I wonder what it's framerate is though.

Nestopia should run just fine though. Do you have a lot of things running while trying to play?

What computer do you have? There is probably something that can be figured out for you. I don't know if this is against the rules or not but in FCEUX go to the Configure tab, Video and under Windowed Settings turn the DirectDraw to hardware acceleration and no sync method. I just found that after playing with the settings for a bit and it seems like it made it run a lot smoother

Have you tried going into Task manager and setting the priority to high for the emulator?

This happened to me before! I wondered what happened. Did you stomp on one of the Koopas? Because that's what made this happen to me.

Category name: Second Quest 1-1 as Fire Mario Runners: Me and anyone Timing: The frame 400 appears to the frame the flagpole is grabbed Rules: Same as 1-1 as fire mario

Savestates should also be allowed for NES classic users as there is no soft reset it resets the whole game and goes back to the regular first quest.

This is harder than the normal 1-1 as fire mario because the enemies move faster as you can see in the first grab I had to bounce off the beetle because it seems to go to the right for some reason.
