What's up my nerds, after my last video took the world by storm my life has been crazy. Have you ever been with so many models that you would rather make tender love your hand? Yeah, me too. My hands are god gamer hands, I know this now, sorry to all you lesser nerds out there, you'll never masterbate with as many mirrors as me, so don't even try. I just thought I'd take some time out of autographing boobs to let y'all know I finished a delicately crafted documentary on speedrunning the Any% trilogy.

Howdy, fellow runners of varying speeds. I am a long time HITMAN player that very recently started running the Any % Category. I would've tried to do the run sooner, but the muffin trick was highly daunting at first. This is my story about watching Hulime get a 14:01 for the Trilogy (Any%), and becoming motivated enough to finally try and conquer the muffin trick myself.

Thanks for this :)

I got everything up and running, load remover and autosplit both work as intended. Cheers.

Wow, what a small and wonderful world. Really glad you liked the Max Payne 3 video, I put a weird little piece of my soul in it. It's very kind of you to call it a goldmine and motivator, this fills me with a warm cocoa feeling of goodness, and for that I thank you.

Thanks for setting me straight on the legitimacy of that Sifu "WR" video, and what I can expect. I suspect your assumption about the timer is correct as well. I must admit, I feel a little silly for bringing this example to the table. My eagerness got the better of me.

I've been having a rough time trying to set up a speedrun timer like the one seen in this video.

It seems to start as the cinematic bars fade away, and stop at the exact moment the final boss execution transitions to a cutscene.

I've plugged in the load remover, and I've tried setting the timer to game time, but nothing I do seems to start or stop the timer on it's own. (As it appears to do in the video I linked. Perhaps the runner is very good at knowing when to manually start and stop, but it looks automatic.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've watched several Live Split tutorials, but they either just cover cosmetics, or cover a game that's incredibly easy to set up.

I am 100% capable of setting up a timer for Minecraft, or any speedrun with a lot of pre-existing resources. I am completely lost when I have to piece together one myself.

God speed! Thanks for doing what you're doing!

Hello, ye lovely denizens of the internet. Hope all is well, I was thinking about doing this co-op speedrun with a buddy of mine, and we were wondering 2 things.

  • We assume the player joining has to bring a recently randomly generated character, that has done no looting whatsoever, just making sure.

  • Is it permissible to tether the joined player with the host as a strategy?

(And in regards to the solo run)

  • Is Independence pack really allowed? I just don't see it used in the other runs.

Have a nice day :)

I just started speed running this not long ago, (New York Minute Hardcore, Glitchless) and I put together a humble little compilation of all the attempts it took to get my goal time of sub 1 hour. It's very rough around the edges, and perhaps not that close to WR, but it's special to me.

Godspeed to you all.

Much appreciated guys :)

Just to be super clear, because I think I could have been more clear.

Exactly what happened: I ran into RPD, and instead of putting away my knife, I grabbed a coin, put the coin back, stashed the knife, and went on with my run.

Sounds like I'm clear there, and I'm glad I took all my mods off.

Greetings everyone, it's my first time submitting a speed run and I was curious about what was accepted. Sorry for any questions that may seem like common sense.

Are cosmetic mods allowed? I imagine a large chunk of us also stream, so mods like shirtless Carlos can make it more entertaining. Shirtless Carlos also stands out more, and is easier to see during instances of heavy motion blur, so are mods like these considered unfair?

Does putting a NG+ coin/item in your inventory, on accident, invalidate the entire run? (Even if you put it back immediately)

As a new runner is there anything I can do to help the moderators?

I sent in my speed run as raw footage, complete with "headphone intensive" moments, pee breaks, and a lull 2 minutes too long at the end. I have excellent editing software, and it would've taken about 3 minutes to make the video more watchable, but that's against the rules right? As a content creator I'd rather go and clean it up.

Anything you all wish you knew right when you started would be welcome as well. I've been trying to learn from Lucylover other speed runners like an apt sponge.

Take care yall.
