new link that should be permanent, not sure anyone ever used this when I had it on puush
I still don't understand why you think MMRTA is inferior, but whining about it here isn't going to change anything. Your argument was already shot down in the Discord server by multiple people.
You can either press/mash start to pause and see if you get the frame you can jump (Gunvolt will be transitioning from facing left to facing right), and then hold jump after unpausing to buffer it, or just time your jump press. On PC it's a frame perfect input so good luck.
I asked the other mods if they would want to add the categories, but no one seemed interested. I'd say if you can garner interest in them by having more than just a run or two added, then it would be worth adding to the leaderboard.
As of now, I personally would like to keep it from being cluttered with categories without any competition. To be honest, Buster Only and 100% are pushing it as it is.
I didn't know about this, but you can do a similar method in Mega Man X to get the Hadoken using passwords. Cool find.
The normal route follows the Any% Ostrich 3rd path, there's a harder route that I'm not sure of exactly but it does Centipede 3rd and has some difficult tricks.
I came up with this strat for Serges:
Not sure if there's a better way but this turned out well. Only things to note are holding left into the wall to dboost quickly, then letting go of it when you fire the slicer seems to double hit him consistently.
You do take a lot of damage, but this seems good to me. Also getting hit by his cape at the start instantly fills your Giga Crush energy, if you ever need that.
I added it, I honestly think it'll make the game harder (it's already super easy as it is) but have fun with runs.
Sounds pretty boring to me, but if y'all want to run it, I'm not against making it a category.
I'm interested in doing casual runs of this and I was also wondering if having everything unlocked would be a nice way to have everyone on the same page when it comes to NG+. I finished a Normal run with Nina, but I didn't have the stuff on the left side fully unlocked so I didn't think it would count.
Someone mentioned that the Binding of Isaac people require a 100% unlocked file to submit runs and I agreed that is a pretty good idea.
X2 has been copied over (buster only has not been added but can probably throw that into misc). Feel free to find me around if there are any issues.
All runs for any% and low% have been copied over from MMRTA to here. I will keep an eye on this site as well as MMRTA to make sure that it stays 1:1 for listed times.
There was also talk of separating VC into the Emulator leaderboard, which we've done here and is not currently a thing on MMRTA, but it doesn't affect much in the end.
Any issues you have, feel free to reach out to me or other mods.

New version of the autosplitter, now removes loading times and starts when you select your character. (Selecting the character may be delayed by a little bit, so you may need to manually add in a small offset in LiveSplit to account for it.)
Hello, my friend rainbowism and I worked on an autosplitter for the Steam version of the game. Currently it only splits automatically when a boss reaches 0 HP, but we're hoping to also have it remove load times and start on character select (he had it working on his stream last night but it doesn't auto start for me as of this post).

Let me know if there are any issues and I'll see if we can get it fixed.
They're not loading for me either, your best bet is to look on each runner's Youtube I guess. Not sure if people also put their runs there.
Yeah, this leaderboard is more of a placeholder than anything. Emulator was banned here as a joke, you're more than welcome to post emulator times to Joka's leaderboard.
Luckily I kept my save file for my Beck run, thought I deleted it.
