Based on the feedback given over the past few days, it appears people were never fully accepting of adopting an fps cap. The vote that was done on the issue didn’t include the option for no cap, was done prior to testing how significant different FPS caps would have on the ability to beat current records, and the vote included people who don’t run the game. I think its best that the rules be reverted back to the way they were prior to when this discussion began. Given the most recent voting on the forum, the mods and others are in general agreement that the cap is not for the best. Sorry for any confusion this has caused, future rule changes (if any ever occur) will be done more slowly.
In short - no more fps cap now.
I am not here to stir things up, i run for enjoyment too and tired of this aswell. Well i agreed coz we both have gave up to other in some rules. I am fine with whatever rule. I asked a lot to Online community about fps to understand better. If we uncap then it stays like that. There arent many that run or will run at all and i dont think someone will blow cash for GTA V speedruns which makes easier for uncapped so if your fine then we can go back to uncapped and run for fun. One Trevor% could ruin so much :( I mentioned already discord and apologized if i insulted in any way :)
I just want to make sure that FPS rules are settled now and never touched again unless there is major new speed tech found. Whats with you not being able to reach certain fps. I wont do runs offline besides Trevor% and true any%. I had no intention do for FPS boost sake.
if i remove FPS cap and risk Complications error i could go as high as 170 without recording. With slightly less i guess. Other games have these fps rules but i dont know their specifics. Burhac doesnt seem to be able to get more then 80-90 on stream (no idea about offline) while i can hit over 100 and easier parts over 130. We need to ask Burhac to keep eye on his pace but he hasnt run as much as us. Demetrius could do it too. He knows trevor% very well but i cant seem to contact him anywhere
About my time losses, i loose 2-3 seconds until parking lot cutscene, my best was 8:27 in these 2 days but by the end of Trevor% i somehow managed to get decent time. Its tiny amounts lost but it is there. The explosion on 52 second is 0.5 lost which got almost every time. I could still get 2:40 but felt harder. After first hour cant say since today i couldn't focus due to this whole thing. I got impression it is possible to beat our times on full runs but cant say for sure, i will stream again only on Thursday and then whole week from Saturday. So i think lets keep it for like a week until more results come in.
EDIT: i will do Trevor% test runs offline with 90 fps cap too to see how its running against my uncapped wr splits.

Welll i personally like to see 1 but i also have no problems if we create new leader boards which would have 90 fps cap. That would make separate competition for people with weaker PCs. Today i got good 1:03:23 Trevor% time on Classic% run which suggests its not impossible to do Classic% and get PBs but i need to complete some runs and do tests to fully judge.
Also changing rules every day is a joke. Needs testing before implementing. Next few evenings i will try to do some drives on highways and other roads Baron suggested me to test. Until then 90 fps rule should stay because this is becoming embarrassing.

For a better moderation team i would give up yes, that means i do care in that sense. Also yes thats why i didnt become one earlier but at that time there was nobody else to step in so it was us.
Not true that i dont care, stop with that. Just because i cant show that doesn't mean i dont.
I wasn't told he submitted old runs so thats why why i wanted to know. Only found out later from one of vipers posts. Then we wouldn't have all the banning drama. Off course i would reject that too.
I had no intention to try to be friends or enemies with anyone. I tried to act as a mod even tho i am not perfect and not always around ( which i am being blamed for). I guess i missed part in vipers first post about old runs so i got suspicious about fact that runs got rejected because of personal issues against rye.
I hope when this all drama will settle we can cone together and forgive and forget. I want compete in the game by having fun, chilling and not be a politician on leaderboards.
i didnt even get to see the runs or anything when decision is already made, not cool. I dont want to start more problems but if you have too much history with too many people it affects your decision as mod. IF Ryedawg gets a PB now with FPS cap and within all other rules i will accept it.
Every WR is beatable. Look i dont like FPS cap either but in interest of fair play etc. i can do.
Probably needed another vote on do you like idea of capping or not at all. I can do experimental capped runs to see if i go slower or not.
I see CHilli suggests 120 or 110, would 100 still be fine? I think people who can run the game properly would be able to achieve at least 80. I want to find balance between smooth and obtainable for everyone. Burhac said he can achieve 100, me and viper too.

I already explained most in GTA V discord to Viper and others but will fully explain my situation from my point of view.
Couple weeks back after dead Classic% run i started doing Trevor% for practice and proper Trevor% PB reasons. Everyone was getting Trevor% PB so i wanted to improve my too. Before that i didn't do any trevor% attempts for previously mentioned 9 or smth months which is true. I dont know why Viper said i was lying but he already apologized.
Anyway i decided to start grinding for a PB and didn't want to stream it because just like true any%, its boring and in Trevor% case seeing me in prologue all the time isn't fun either. Last few evening after work i did 3-4h of trevor% attempts and it was late after work when i cant stream anyway. Took few evenings to get this time. We knew about FPS thing since last year if not longer. That wasn't my intention to do it for better FPS, i didnt feel any advantage, game was just smoother. I had same times in missions like on a normal stream. I have slower PC so having faster loads etc doesnt makes sense since i loose a minute using loadless timer, dont know where Viper takes these numbers. Also i didnt abuse hardware advantage, which i dont have since Vipers PC is much better than my. I dont have knowledge what Online racers have so dont asume i know better, i trust my feel for the game. Its natural that times will get better especially since my PB was OLD. We improve skill wise etc. and current PB is improvable.
I dont remember what i said about FPS a year back but i am fine now since i will improve my PBs anyway. Dont see it as a huge obstacle. Hopefully didnt forget to adress something.
EDIT 1: My fps was capped to 130 due to "Complications" mission fail. I usually get if its over that. On stream i get arround 80-100, offline another as you said 30, not more.I want online Community members to set a number they thing most people who can play GTA v could achieve. Everyone post your average fps, dont matter if you run the game or not. WE can find golden middle.
