6 frame pause before dbj, also the 2 frames was probably from somewhere else

autohotkey can work, watch youtube tutorials on how to mimic keyboard inputs. easy but takes a long time

merl i thought it would be very hard because the second block would be too high up, but looking now it seems possible

also, best i could do in a single run in bump + dbj, but was a frame slower due to hesitation

and before anyone says it, im 79% sure you cant dbj both bumps, only one of them, because you can get enough height from the first one. i definitely believe and hope that that will be proven wrong, but it seems more like a TAS thing to do

so i did some expert diagnosis of different runs i had and came to a conclusion. double bump (from spectisy's last livestream) saves 0.1s from regular dbj (from my 46.2 run), and both (double bump but second bump is a dbj) is 0.1s faster than normal double bump. ik i formatted that badly but idk how else to say it. both > double bump > dbj, so technically 46.000 is possible since both is .2 faster than the dbj in my 46.2 run

i finally tested it and jumping to the shop is equal to getting the tilt forward movement frame, so it is a much more consistent way to complete the last level in 2.867 or under

this was more of me looking for confirmation but go wild

i think i discovered something huge to get sub 46.2. so basically if you are able to replicate my 46.200 run but jump to the shop on one of the last possible frames, you will touch the burger shop in the falling animation, which could save 1-4 frames (0.017s - 0.067s)

Manitoba, CanadaTheTuxedoMan2 years ago

what would be different though?

Manitoba, CanadaTheTuxedoMan2 years ago

i might look into making a TAS for the game since all i need to do is mimic keyboard inputs, and then ill see what the theoretical fastest time is. it does seem very unlikely that multiple double jumps will be performed in one run, and will probably only be used as a last resort to improve times

just by looking at my 46.383 run, i can only see areas thank can lower it to 46.1xx (better level 2 and skipping final brick on level 6). does anyone know if anything can be done to get sub 46, or will 46.1 be the last tenth second barrier?
