Hello Everyone,
The new link for the discord server is up and running. Sorry for the wait!
Hey There
I've been directed here through Meerkat's post on needing a new moderator for Backyard Baseball 2003. I've been a part of running that game for quite some time and have multiple pending runs and runs that are already on the leaderboards before the current mod went dark. Meerkat and other members of the community for the Backyard Series believe that I would be a good mod for it because of my understanding of the rules and my knowledge of the game.
Thanks :)
Well, now I see that it makes sense from a rules standpoint and that's my bad for not fixing that before it became an issue. But on the topic of categories, it's fairly redundant to add more of these categories since they'll all have almost the exact same time in the first place. Also, as a recommendation, I would submit another run the complies with the no changes of default rules just so everything is still in order. I'll keep the run-up for maybe another week or so but after then I'll take it down so it doesn't look like you had an unfair advantage.
Thanks for asking though,

I'll just time it myself and get it verified. If you can get the timer in the video or time it some other way in the future that would be fantastic but what you've submitted is just fine for now.

Hi There,
I'm not really sure how possible it is to remove loading times from the Wii U Version of the game unless I manually count every time the game loads which sounds like a huge pain. Is there any way that I could just upload an RTA to the page and it gets fixed?
Thanks,

Thanks for Letting Me Know, I'll remove the run for the time being unless the user resubmits with a non broken link

MiiWii, as far as I know, the entire point of the run is to get lucky RNG to get a good time. That's why my All-Time Favorite is 11:42 and my Super All Time Favorite is 2:52:06. So, to answer your question, No, you cannot use QR Coded Miis at the beginning as the whole purpose of the category is to get Good RNG.
Just asking for the end of time in this category, is time counted as soon as you talk to the soldier, or do you stop time after you've rescued all the faces and then talk to him?
Just wanting to know.
Ok, I realize that videos for verification are a necessity for speedruns. My only qualm with this is that these runs are 30 + hours long if your average and 27+ if you're pretty good. I get that I can use Twitch for Recording purposes but that is an enormous file to have on my computer. Would It be at all possible to cut it into parts or is the Full Run the only possible way to verify. It's just somewhat long.
