Hello there speedrunners! I am ThaDude901 and I am here to get myself into speedrunning.

Some information about me for those who might be curious. I've been gaming since I was as young as 4yrs. I play just about every genre of games but usually tend to shy away from fighting and racing games, I enjoy a combination of good story telling and difficult combat. Some of my favourite games/series include RE 4/5/7, BioShock, Fallout, Dark Souls, Doom, Diablo, Saints Row, Dead Space and many more. Some of my greatest gaming achievements include getting all achievements in Dark Souls 1 and 2 (3 currently in progress), getting Flawless Raider in Destiny solo when The Dark Below was the latest DLC, and my first game that I acquired all achievements in was Resident Evil 5 many years ago before DLC was released for it.

I've watched VODs as well as live runs from many years of AGDQ as well as SGDQ and have always found it fascinating but never really got the motivation to get into it myself until recently. Within the last few months I suffered serious head trauma that will result in major eye surgery and as a result I'll be off work for at least a few months and will have nothing but free time so I figure what better time than now to start.
