I would really love to run this game but I really don't want the game to be a 60fps slideshow while I'm playing it. I'm fine with making 60+ knife being considered a glitch. Especially if not using the knife means that variable framerate runs are still allowed as glitchless.
I've had it happen twice now, and I have no idea what I did to get it to happen. I "try" for it every time I start a run, but have never found anything that works.
I think having a category where skills and bonuses are allowed would be good too since that would be the ¤fastest¤ way to complete stages. Either way I'd like to see this.
I always thought speedrunning existed outside of cultural barriers. A worldwide collaborative effort to break games.
Hey so I don't know what I did, but I finally got the autosplitter to work. I checked boxes for every split I want, but do I still have to type them in manually? Is there a standard which everyone else is using?
I was playing with an unlocked framerate. Even though I can't run it much higher than what was being displayed my monitor is 144hz so I like to let it do its thing. I don't know if that contributed to it.
One thing I did notice is that when I spawned back in bounds I was on top of the space you're supposed to drop down into, basically floating in midair. I had to walk away and come back in order to drop down. Perhaps when spawning in bounds in certain locations it might give you a kind of ISG hover.
That's a clever thought, although I know Valve doesn't like people using VPNs for Steam, so be careful.
I had the same issues with Sonic Adventure 2 a few weeks ago. Lots of nice people like yourself trying to help, and I appreciate that. For whatever reason it just doesn't want to work. I made exceptions for it in my firewall, which isn't any more strict than default, and it still doesn't work.
Doesn't work. I have never got any autosplitter to work. I'm using the most recent version of livesplit. I've reset it 1000 times.
Where do I put the .asl file?
I've never been able to get an autosplitter to work. I'm probably just retarded, but is there a file I might be missing?
