The autosplitter has not been kept up to date through the last updates of the game. The splitting itself is broken, but the load removal still works fine (aside from cases that happen when starting LiveSplit AFTER the game is launched).
Just simply have a timer with "Compare Against" set to "Game Time". Do not use the "Split" setting, but keep the "Start" setting checked under the autosplitter Component Settings. The Game Time timer will automatically start correctly, you will have to manually split yourself by using the hotkey.
Usually in other speedgames where they go by IGT they have a rule of "no excessive pausing". However, UNSIGHTED is in an unusual spot where more than just pausing will stop the in game time. Crafting, equipping (pretty much any menu), cutscenes and anytime there is dialogue on the screen are such cases.
Technically these are not "pausing", but it's incredibly hard to differentiate whether or not someone is deliberately going through these scenes slowly to give them a short rest versus someone who is just slow. This rule is to place a more concrete guideline than just "no excessive pausing" to address all this. This rule was talked with both devs and other moderators back in the demo days so it wasn't just me making this rule.
If you have more input on how to better handle this ruling feel free to suggest something!
A gun has been implemented as an alpha tester reward; the Pizza Gun. In order to be able to use this you must enable it with a cheat code. The Pizza Gun currently has the following stats:
- Deals enough damage to one-shot most non-midboss or tougher enemies up through realm 3.
- Bullets bounce twice without needing the ricochet mod.
- Always starts off with all 3 slots filled with random mods.
- Shoots a 3 shot burst for the price of one ammo.
- Has 9 base ammo.

The Pizza Gun is not officially available to everybody. The devs are planning to officially release this gun at a later time. For now it is banned, but if you feel like this rule should be changed we encourage you to give your thoughts here or on the Discord server: https://discord.gg/8cGDwUe
With the BETA 1.30 update new Chiming Tree Upgrades have been released. There is one particularly questionable upgrade that may be a frustrating addition to speedruns. The one I am talking about is "Persistent Blessing".
What is Persistent Blessing? I'll give you the description straight from the game:
"Allows you to start a run with a random Blood Blessing from the previous run, providing that you found at least 3 Blessings during your previous run."
The key words here being random and previous run. This means that you will have to set up each and every attempt in advance and sometimes you will not get the Blessing you want anyways. This is particularly egregious for Any% since going into Blood Altars are generally seen as time consuming. You may or may not get the Blessings you want during your dummy runs anyways.
In order for speedruns to not be so frustrating it is perhaps in our best interest to not allow this upgrade to be used in runs. However, as per speedrunning community unspoken rules this will be decided with the community.
For now it is banned for speedruns, but if you feel like this rule should be changed we encourage you to give your thoughts here or on the Discord server: https://discord.gg/8cGDwUe
