ok I completely skimmed the last half of the message so I deleted my original response.
it only works on certain textboxes where you can drop the item between global.msc being set for the text, and the text actually appearing. This usually happens between different textboxes in some cutscenes. it isn't useful anywhere in neutral or geno, and it's already used in the pacifist speedrun.
