If you want to call it the true WR then you gotta play the game on a console...save states make it so much easier to retry over and over again quickly and allows for many more tries compared to console, effectively giving you an advantage not only in loading screen time but just overall time spent on trying to get the WR. The console record is the true WR.

Sweet! Yeah I think it makes the most sense as well. Well, now I have 4 more runs to do over the next few days lol.
Yes I am talking about a site-wide feature that moderators for a single game can turn on or off based on if that game makes sense to have a leaderboard or not.
I think if a moderator is adding a bunch of categories and then doing their own runs with that clear intent, they should be removed as a moderator, plain and simple. I think it would work for a lot of games and it should be left up to each moderator team on each game to decide if they add it or not.
Also, MISC categories should not go toward the count. I get that not all WR's are equal. But if you do this, it would make ALL of the categories more competitive, essentially making them more equal over time as times get better.
I think it would be really awesome if every game on this website had a Leaderboard that showed who has the most world records for that game. You could possibly even do a point system that awards 2nd and 3rd place as well. It might get more people to speedrun the categories that otherwise get mostly ignored. Please consider something like this! Leaderboards are so much fun!
Got a recommendation here for the Minigame Battle section. Instead of putting it in Misc with a ton of different options, why not just put it in Mini-Game Mode section, have console/emulator, have difficulties, and that's it? You could leave out the minigame type, leave out the wins needed, and just let the players figure out which option is the fastest for them. I doubt anyone will be motivated to play it with how split up it is right now.
I don't believe it belong in misc anyways because it is part of Mini-Game Mode. Lemme know what you think!
Also, are you using an emulator or Homebrew? You have to mark it as emulator. The loading times you are getting are way faster than console.
Hey, just wanted to let you know that the time you entered is incorrect, it should be 12m 54s 830ms, not 083. You can edit that and it will resubmit to be approved again.
