Thanks for the report! I've updated the code and it should work now. (I got Peggle free once on Origin's "On The House" system but never normally use Origin, so I hadn't noticed.) Could you download it again and give it another try?

Hiya,

I've created an auto-splitter for Peggle Deluxe Adventure Mode, which I've made available at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Sophira/LiveSplit-AutoSplitters/master/Peggle%20Deluxe%20-%20Adventure%20Mode.asl . (Right-click that link and save to a file to download.) I've used it in a verified run (2:41:20 - http://www.speedrun.com/run/nz1pde7z ), and now I'm looking to make sure it works for everybody on their systems before uploading it to the Resources section and requesting for it to be included in LiveSplit itself.

I've tested it only with the Steam version of Peggle Deluxe, but it should probably be suitable for the non-Steam version as well. It doesn't work with Peggle Nights or Peggle World of Warcraft Edition. (It ¤does¤ seem to work with the free Peggle Extreme, but that's not by design; just a happy coincidence.)

Would anybody be willing to download and test the auto-splitter for me? You can use it after downloading by editing your layout to include the "Scriptable Auto Splitter", in the "Control" submenu. (It doesn't show up visually at all, so it won't mess up your existing layout.) Then, in the layout settings, in the "Scriptable Auto Splitter" tab, click "Browse..." and find the auto-splitter itself that you downloaded.

The corresponding blank splits file can be found at https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Sophira/LiveSplit-AutoSplitters/master/Peggle%20Deluxe%20-%20Adventure%20Mode.lss . (Again, right-click and save to file.)

The timer will start once the first story screen ("A Brief Introduction to Peggle") is displayed. This only displays the first time you start Adventure Mode after creating a new user, so you must create a new user in order to begin a run.

Splits occur when the next level is displayed, or (in the case of the starting level in each set of levels: 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, etc), when the corresponding story screen for that level set (introducing that level set's Peggle Master) is displayed. Note that this means that any time spent at the end of a level is included in that level's time, even score counting.

Timing ends when the ending screen ("The Peggle Institute Certificate of Excellence") is displayed.

Thanks to anybody who is willing to help me test this!
