It doesn't exist.

There used to be a bug with Vulcan Minigun that made you run faster with short barrel mod, but it's been patched long time ago. Like 5 years ago with update 83.

As to the post game screen: Rule 5 states "Show the crew stats at the end in your video" (should be specified to show it after each day if it's a multi-day heist) so the time can be verified. The time displayed on the Crew Stats Screen (CSS) counts towards the validation of the run, as the "during-the-heist-displayed-timer" can differ slightly from CSS. As to the "best possible build" there is no such thing as it varies from heist to heist and should be tailored to a specific heist, but there are some essential skills required (especially for short heists) to get the most speed out of your run. So basically look at every speedboosting skill and decide if there's a way for you to utilize it in your run - if so then add it to your build. As of Update 180 there are quite a few skills that contribute to speed increase. Those are: Inspire (basic), Partner in Crime (basic), Duck and Cover (basic), Parkour (basic), Second Wind (basic or aced), Running From Death (aced) combined with Messiah, Feign Death or Inspire (aced). Some of those skills are only useful in co-op runs. Add a Yakuza perk deck combined with Frenzy (basic) on top of that and you'll be a speed demon.

It's not a glitch, it's a death mechanic abuse (pretty much a requirement in co-op runs) - every time you get downed it slows down time a bit for you (it's client side, so for everyone else time runs normally). And because it's the host's time that counts for the run, he kept on killing himself, while someone else drove the car, to shave off as much time as possible.

Yes, no mods of any kind allowed whatsoever. No texture mods, no HUD mods, no weapon stats changing mods, no skill changing mods, no sound mods, no additional info mods and so on. Nothing that could actually or potentially help you in any way that is not in vanilla version of the game.

No, the Console and PC separation wasn't a joke. Maybe there are not that many runs yet, but they can just be empty. There are not that many glitched runs (there should be precise explanation in the rules to what is considered a glitch and what is not. Can there be a glitchless run with a major skip or is the major skip considered a glitch?) and yet the category is there.

Damn, so many categories to submit runs into... You should separate PC and Console while you're at it as well.

This only shows that unfinished (still being developed, changed and receiving new content) game shouldn't be speed ran. :D

Contractor and Full Game categories? Who would want to watch through it and verify it - that would be a moderator's nightmare. Maybe one of those sleeper Mods (AMVX, Lavender_cobra, CommanderCH, mnbmnb336), that haven't done anything in months, would do it? I wouldn't participate in those runs, but I couldn't care less if the categories are there though.

Cladall, can you please stop submitting runs on my behalf? I submit my runs purposefully and would never submit any of them to be on lower than 1st place. If my run was beaten then it's fine, but I don't see a reason to post something that's sub par from the beginning.

I agree that there should be only up to 4 players allowed, but I don't think they should be there from the beginning or to the end of the heist. Why not let people start even with one player and have others drop in and out as long as there are only 4 distinct players in the whole run. For example let's say the host is called "A" - for whatever reason he starts the heist solo and after a few minutes has player "B" join him. They go about with the run and after a while player "C" joins. In the meantime player "B" leaves and player "D" joins. And even though there is a free spot there can not be a player "E" - only those 3 (besides the host for obvious contract-terminating reasons) who were already participating can join and leave as many times as they see fit.

My take on speedrunning is to have the fastest time possible using and taking advantage of any and every (intentional or unintentional) game feature that is available. That's why I'm all for using bugs and glitches as well. In my opinion people can be kicked, disconnect, leave and come back (even with a different build) as long as they are the same players. If the vanilla game code [made by the developers (with its flaws)] allows you to do something - go for it. There should be no restrictions on that. Speedrunning is not a normal gameplay and should never be considered as such.

PS. In the example you gave, Cladall, the kick doesn't even make a difference as it was made after Jigu killed himself and went into custody. This, however is a great example of a perfectly thought out and executed strat involving slow motion and a kick saving a lot of time. That's CREATIVITY! It would be a shame and disservice to speedrunning if that was disallowed. It hurts me every time when co-op runs are slower than solo runs.

Well, for me "no mods" means "no mods whatsoever" - nothing that comes from outside the game itself. I haven't seen all of the runs so am not aware what exactly you're referring to, but am of the opinion that if you see something you call it out. I would even suggest it be required to show after the run that you have no mods in your Options --> Mods/LUA Mods.
