How about showing the car setup right before starting the run?

About the RNG This may sound ridiculous, but YES! This game has RNG. I've noticed that the A.I. can be too agressive sometimes (specially on Super Sedan Challenge, International Supercar Series and the infamous GT Racing Championship). The A.I. suddenly starts to "cheat" and even if you have a fully upgraded car, they can overtake you. I've noticed that even the tracks are random. Some tracks are faster if you're racing them Forward (like Route Adonf for example), but sometimes you'll get them reversed. Even the weather is RNG, the most notorious tracks are Celtic Ruins and Route Adonf in Grand Touring Competition which can be Forward Dry, Forward Rainy, Forward Mirrored, Forward Mirrored Rainy or Reversed and blah, blah, blah.

Cars Status Are False This also can sound ridiculous, but trust me, those status are bullshit! A good example is the Corvette vs 550 Maranello. The Corvette is worse than it shows at status points, even with fully upgraded status, the Corvette is one of the worst cars in the game. The 550 Maranello (which can easily beat the 911 Turbo and Diablo in Acceleration/Top Speed with fully upgraded) is waay OP than it looks. Another example is the CLK-GTR vs F1-GTR. Mann, the CLK-GTR and the F1-GTR has the same status, but when you get them, you'll notice that the CLK-GTR has a poor Acceleration and a poor Top Speed, even it's transmission gear box is bad, so keep that in mind that the car status aren't real.

NTSC-J vs NTSC-U The only difference between them, it's the Nissan Skyline that exists in japanese version, which can be an excelent choice for a 100% Run. I mean, the Corvette (like I've mentioned) is too bad for this run, but I was testing a route for 100% Runs, and I've noticed that the Skyline is a Top Tier car in this game. It's like the 911 Turbo which you don't need to brake for like almost every single corner. You can easily turn those Durham Road corners at 240km/150mph speed, but like the 550 Maranello, you'll have some issues at rainy tracks, but nothing that you can't deal if it. Also, the Japanese version changes the Corvette Pro Cup to Skyline Pro Cup which is way faster than CPC for a 100% Run. My advise is: If you're going to run the 100% category, choose Japanese Version for it, and if you're going to run the Any% All Tournaments category, choose the American Version. I'll be doing some tests in the Japanese Version for Any%. I want to see if the Skyline can be better than the 550 Maranello. I'll update this post, if I get any good results.

Super Sedan Challenge DNF Abuse I was talking about the agressive A.I. RNG based, and I forgot to mention that, this bad RNG can help you at Durham Road. There's little chance for a DNF abuse in Celtic Ruins if Nemesis and Bullett starts to "cheat". Right in the middle section of the Durham Road, they can be so agressive that they'll crash, and get 5th and 6th position. My advise is: Keep looking at the mini map in Durham Road, if they crash, look for the tournament score board right after the race ends, if they're at 3th and 4th position, you can DNF Abuse Celtic Ruins and you'll save about 3:30/3:50min.

April 17th 2021 edit: New Route It's been a while since my last post, but here I am to explain what I've discovered. Japanese Version is now the fastest version for both Any% and 100% Category, and the reason is the Skyline Pro Cup which is faster than doing the Grand Touring Competition again to have enough money for the GT Racing Championship, also it rewards you with a Special R34 Nissan Skyline, so you get more money doing less races as possible. I've tested something similar in the American Version, but the Corvette Pro Cup is slower and the Porsche Pro Cup is out of question, because you must avoid Snowy Ridge at any cost, I mean it's the slowest track in the game, so you have free time lost just doing the PPC, and that's why you DNF Snowy Ridge in the International Supercar Series.
