Heyhey, I am a bit out of the loop of the Dokapon speedruns so I am happy you are posting this. I indeed recreated the Wii version for this. And I do agree on the AI and w/o AI part. I am open to re-organise the categories that would seem more sense. Merging the any% with and without AI. Just an any% category where everything is allowed. Mixing AI, how many players you have in the game etc. Perhaps that makes more sense that everything is allowed in this category as it is any%. No restrictions in this.

Although, making one big any% where everything is allowed, it might discourage co-op players. As you are categorised with the solo runners. I am unsure how to implement categories for this. I am not sure if 2, 3, 4 players divided would solve that problem in any%. If that would make sense..

I never heard of podium farming before, and a few other terms, so I learned something new. Thanks for writing this out! I really needed this when I started my first speedrun ever, I was so lost what OOB, RTA and IGT meant back then.

Except for mod and post farming, I don't consider the run/game farming to be a bad thing. If you enjoy to run a lot of short games and a bunch of them, go for it.

Moderator since is not accurate at all. It says I am moderator of Doshin the Giant since 2020 while the audit log shows logs from 2017. If data is shown publicly, it would be nice if it is accurate..

Edit: oh wow, they actually took the date of my first verified run of the leaderboard. That's weird.

Breadcrumbs to the forum posts would be nice. And be able to disable some features, for example:

• show/hide followed games on your profile
• enable/disable comments on your runs
• enable/disable comments for runs on this leaderboard Etc.

^ I also would like an option to disable run comments on my own runs

I switch a lot from game to game, I love to explore new games and learn them. But when I came across Refunct, I kept running it for a while. So that PB is one of my proudest achievements, not because it is extremely good or anything. But it was a game that kept my motivation going. Looking back at it, I am proud I pushed my PB lower and lower. I wish I can find another game with the same experience.

And doing the first Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked speedrun. The run sure is literally a shipwreck but I am proud of doing the first run for an empty leaderboard.

Ah okay, so this problem isn't on my end. This is basically the reason I am mainly browsing the site logged-out. Not convenient as I won't see any pending runs, so I log in so now and then to check.

Anyone else having this problem? When I am logged in, the site is extremely slow. On phone and on different computers. It takes around 5 - 7 seconds to load a page, doesn't matter what page.

When I log out, the site is suddenly fast. The loadings are less than 1 second. Anyone else having the same issue? I am going to tweak my settings to see if that resolves anything. (already tried adblock and different browsers but it is only slow when logged in, the issue is solved when logged out). This has been an issue for a few weeks now and thought the overall site was just slow.

Edit: Removed my theme, disabled private messages, cleared all cookies but nothing works till now.

As I recently reported a front page bug about followed games, I shall also write it here.

I don't want to see my followed games on the front page and keep the front page randomnized (unfollowed games). So, I put the settings on 0 in my settings both minimum and maximum. But recently, when I put my settings on 0, it shows 5 followed games on the front page. While a few weeks ago this worked correctly. (Other values work correctly though, just the 0 value isn't working)

I don't know any specific program/software tools for this. But the first thing that came to my mind when reading 'Feed data to', I would say Excel / Google Spreadsheet.

If you are looking for a super fast any% run, I can recommend The Adventures of Pinocchio ( https://www.speedrun.com/advpinocchiogb ). The any% run is only 1 second long due to a Credit Warp glitch. Besides that, the any% NMG is also nice and worth to check out if you like puzzle / Solstice like games.

Well, what do you like? There are way too many free PC games to recommend something. But I can name a few locations and my personal favorites.

ROBLOX has a lot of fun games which are free, for example Speed Run 4 or Tower of Hell. Kongregate and Itch.io for a lot of free web based games. (Celeste Classic, A Pirate and His Crates, Shelled Shinobi) Steam got a lot too. (Helltaker, FrostRunner, Project Exhibited)

Late reply but for others who will read this thread: When you press start while dying in the first room, it will warp you to the end credits as it causes your room count to be set back by one.

Original disc on a Wii is not considered emulation. But if you are using software like Nintendont or USB Loading to play the games on original hardware, this is usually considered emulation. To be sure, ask in the game forum or contact the moderators of the game you want to run.
