That's a good question. I don't see any removed runs in our audit logs so the runner must have deleted their account or removed the run themselves.
He never replied to my message here on Speedrun.com but it really sucks. I had a 3 month old message I didn't know I had so I might as well get on that now!
Grample, you need to verify your email before I am able to do so.
Technically the most optimal any% route should use the least look commands. Some prefers to spam it to get Pac-Man's attention as soon as possible after another action 😆
If I don't get any takers from any previous runners within a week I'll gladly take on your help! 😁
Hi guys!
So life is getting more and more in the way recently so I haven't always been able to keep up when a new run comes in.
I'm looking for one or two people to help out in case I have to go MIA for a few days, so are there anyone who would like to join the mod team for Pac-Man 2: TNA?
The only 2 criteria are that you must have a time on the leaderboard and have the want to look at new runs/messages/etc as they come in.
There's not a lot of action happening on this board so the job is pretty easy.
Thank you for reading and considering!

Aha! I found out why it didn't show up. I had to enable milliseconds for the whole game.
Your runs are updated with the proper times now. Keep it up! It's quite exciting to see these runs! 😄
Whoops, I forgot to enable milliseconds on the leaderboards 😅 It's added now. I'll see if I can update your run with it once the changes goes live. If I can't, you might have to submit the run again but I'll let you know!
The time trial leaderboards has been added! 😁
Click on the Leaderboards menu and there is a new "Level Leaderboard" for each time trial stage.
Or click here: https://www.speedrun.com/pac2/level/Time_Trials
Check out the rules for SNES and Genesis passwords as they are not the same.
I don't know if there's any minor or major differences between SNES and Genesis on the time trial stages so both share leaderboards for now.
I had no idea there was time trials for minecart and hangglider! 😮 That's cool!
I don't have much spare time this weekend but I'll check out the time trials myself next week and add categories for them. 😊
I get email notifications for everything so I don't log in here to check notifications, hence the long offline time. :)
Real life is just getting in the way for me to verify runs at an instant, so it might take a bit to get around to do so.
Congrats on SNES WR! That was one impressive run!
Mecha Richter tried to figure this out years ago but never found out how to get to 100% either.
Here's a VOD of him doing 87% at least:
Thank you for the video link. I'll update the run ASAP! Also I am so sorry for not verifying your run before now, PaulSaltine! Speedrun.com never sent me a notification email for it! :(
Not that I am aware of. I have noticed that he is posting times with his splits linked to Splits.io which might be what he's referring to. We would have to ask him to clarify to get a proper answer.
Done and done!
There is quite a few seconds of difference between the games. In the Genesis version you can instantly skip the "cutscenes" bewteen levels where on SNES you have to wait a bit.
I believe the only major animation difference is during the 2'nd level when you have to climb up to the hangglider, the falling rock gives a different mood. There could be more with some of the new strats used. I haven't played the game on SNES in a long time.
