Your runs are now verified. The rejections were made in error.

We've had a troll submit fake runs on several accounts recently, so the mod team has been extra cautious about new runners.

It likely depends on how they do the story mode. We don't know yet whether they'll do the same percentage counter thing, but you can definitely expect Any% and 100% (assuming they still do star ratings), just not sure about extra stages yet.

I've edited the invite link so it will never expire. Thanks for letting me know!

Hi everyone! I'm quite intrigued by this game as a speedrun, and decided to create a discord server dedicated to finding strategies, specifically good first shots to take uncertainty out of many of the levels. If you're at all interested, please join me and help me out! https://discord.gg/sznszzv

This is known. You can see that I use RNG manipulation in my Extra Stages runs, and it's actually faster to close the game to manipulate a 1 cycle on 9-9. From what I know, the first game you play will be seeded based on how many times you've viewed the title screen and heard the voice line on the title screen (you can get infinite consistent seeds for your first game!), and every game after that is based on how long the game has been running. Again, this is only on PC to my knowledge. Also, going into the online menu ruins the manip.

I'll explain how to get infinite consistent seeds: If you go through the title screen without hearing the voice line then play the game, you'll get seed 1. If you go through the title screen with the voice line, you'll get seed 2. If you go through with the voice line, then go back from the main menu, and skip the voice line this time, you'll get seed 3. If you go through with the voice line, go back, and listen to the voice line, you'll get seed 4. The basic formula is seed = voice lines heard + title screens watched.

I think it would be a good addition to the Level Leaderboard section. Just levels with in-game timers though. (Time-based fight levels, ultra trials, tiny trials, and endless trials)

I submitted a run 2 weeks ago, and it still hasn't been addressed yet. I just want to know if the mods are here, and if they would like any help moderating the game. I'm very knowledgeable about this game because I played it a ton as a kid, and I picked up on a lot of patterns in AI card selection when doing so. Anyway, I just want to make sure that it's not taking the mods 2+ weeks to verify a <4 hour run.

Most of the runs on this board are from the Flash version which was released a few years ago. Since flash isn't the best game platform for this kind of game, it has a relatively large lag problem for most players. And it gets quite a bit worse when recording.

Frame by frame timing: Is this per frame in the video or per frame in the game? Either way, it can be exploited. If it's frame by frame of the game, the type of lag you experience on Google Chrome is just skipping frames where things are still happening. If you mean frame by frame in a video, it still wouldn't be hard to cheat. This also implies recording video footage, which can easily cause the game to lag, which makes it more PC-based than skill-based.

Auto-splitter: Who would make it? Would it account for lag? For full game runs, would it time out menu/loading times?

I agree that the system isn't perfect by any means, heck, there isn't anything on the mission summary screen proving what map you just played. But I really don't see any good solution that would keep it fair for as many people as possible.
