Mod Note: Recording is lacking loading screen tips due to OBS settings. The runner has corrected this for future runs and the load times have been determined using video of the delay between fade out/in and load screen tip observed on the runner's PC.

You know I have literally said I'm not opposed to adding ms, I just want to know why you think they're needed.
For anyone who cares:
-The old any% route no longer works, they removed one of the necessary trees, I think back in July of last year. In light of this I have moved all of the any% runs into "Any% Old". -The autosplitter never worked perfectly and probably no longer works at all. For now I will be timing runs by hand using a video editor. -I have replaced the needlessly complicated headset/controller variable with the official SRC platforms. If you happen to be on a headset not listed, just pick "PC" as your platform.
Not sure what to call this, requirements being something like all recipes/upgrades. Maybe require those metal animal statues (which I assume were intended to be a collectible since you can't recycle them.)

- Time begins on load; Use the Autosplitter.
- Time ends on 45th seed; Use the Autosplitter.
- You must start on a platform where the level's introductory cutscene has played.
Hello, I watched the run on your twitch page and it was very interesting. It's great to see someone new showing interest in this game. I'll be adding a subcategory for glitchless in just a moment. If you would like to join, we have a discord server for PoP speedrunning which can be found at:
Posting this here because by the time someone cares about this category I may no longer remember any of it.
First of all the dupe glitch is its own category because it requires the use of multiple game versions. For instance I use the steam version as well as the GoG version. By saving in one version, and loading that save in another version, you achieve a state where fast traveling causes some light seeds to respawn. Martyr's Tower and Cauldron are the two best known levels for this, as they each have 2 seeds on the fertile ground itself. Optimally you can achieve about 0.22 seeds per second using these two levels on SSD load times.
Here is a theory route for this category if one were to use the Hunter Black Gate skip:
Cauldron Construction Yard Wings (Yellow) Martyr's Tower Dupe Step & Breath (Red & Green) Hunter Machinery Ground Heaven's Stair Reservoir Alchemist Hand (Blue) Concubine Warrior City of Light
The reason City of Light is healed is because it is faster to heal and fast travel than to walk all the way back to reservoir (I think).
I'm guessing this route is capable of sub 3 hours but I'm not sure.
