Hey there, so this is probably a category that is somewhat niche but I'm sure there are people out there looking for games they can speedrun together with a buddy.

Well I just overhauled how multiplayer works in my game Tiles, instead of multiplayer being a sectioned off activity it's now integrated in to the core gameplay. The play style would be akin to "best ball" in golf, where you go with whoever is doing best. In this case, if one player finishes the level you can continue on to the next level, so you have two people simultaneously working on completing the game.

Hi there everyone, I've always thought speedrunning was very cool even though I never got in to it myself. I am about to release my first game on steam and all throughout the level design process I thought to myself, if someone gets very good at this game they will be able to complete this level much faster by doing XYZ. It could possibly be a good game for speedrunning if people get in to it enough.

My name is Austin Sojka, I am a game developer working towards the the release of my first game on steam. I don't do speedruns but I love watching them, especially during the charity events like games done quick.

I don't know if anyone will be passionate enough about my game to put in the hours to be able to speedrun it, but I designed a lot of levels with the idea of "If somebody got really good at my game they could complete this level extra fast by doing xyz". So if somebody does get to that point with my game those nugets of reward are there for them :P

I actually thought about posting some beta access keys in the Speedrunning section just for the sake of getting keys in to the hands of people who might appreciate that aspect of the game, though I'm not sure of the community rules on this sort of thing. If anybody has an opinion on that I'm all ears.
