I don't know if there's a dedicated thread for this, but I noticed that my stream ( www.twitch.tv/driftingskies ) isn't appearing on the Streams page - I checked it out about an hour into my stream and I didn't see it at all. I don't know if it's a UI thing where I can't see my own stream, or if it's one where my Twitch page isn't hooked in to the streams widget just right. Any chance an admin can look into this?
I wanted to add one thing: 100% should probably include Lapis, even if it's not formally tracked. Lapis can be beaten using the Jedo trick anyway, so it doesn't cost too much time; he can be beaten glitchless/deathless by L40 in any case.
I posed this question on my stream, but it's worth formally going ahead and hashing this out:
What exactly should we define 100% as?
I propose the following definition: ¤ 260 / 260 items (All of the items the game keeps track of on the endgame screen) ¤ All characters with 22/22 magic ¤ All characters with 15/15 Arts (note that this is a requirement for 22/22 magic)
This does not include: ¤ Earth Egg (100,000 coins at Sol) ¤ Water Egg (20,000 points at Buma fishing pond) ¤ War God Icon (50,000 points at Sebucus fishing pond; beating Master Course does count toward 260 items) ¤ Evil Talisman / Evil Seru Key (though we will of course get Evil Talisman as in any%) ¤ Level 99 / 9,999,999 EXP ¤ 0 deaths / 0 escapes.
Anyone else care to accept or tweak this definition?
That worked. I wasn't able to get it visible as an IL category, but it shows up as a full-game miscellaneous category and I was able to submit my time.
Thanks.
I'm having a bit of trouble with some moderation. I moderate the Legaia board right now, and Legend of Legaia is a really long game and few people want to play a 12+ hour speedrun.
In order to try to rectify this, I've started to get the community (read: myself and about two other people) to look at a shorter run which only plays the first quarter of the game (about 2:30:00 of it), to be used as a race / competitive category among fans of the game who don't want to do RTA's that last all day, as well as those who passionately hate the slot machine part.
However, I'm not exactly sure how to create the category. It's by definition not a full game category, but neither is it an IL, and as a result, I'm having trouble figuring out exactly where to put it and set it up so it is visible on the main page. If anyone has some idea how to fix this, I would appreciate it. Also, I think this is the right place for this thread, but I could be off a forum or two... Sorry about that.
Another speedrunner living in Arizona. I can approve of this. Best of luck in your runs.
I play/judge Magic in the limited spare time I have when I am not doing speedruns. Should change up the desktop soon, though. Had this one for awhile now.
This is Drifting Skies. You may or may not know me from other sites.
I run Legend of Legaia. I am also working on the side on a few other games - Legaia 2, Wild Arms 3, and Star Ocean 2/3. As you can probably tell, I like to play long RPG's. This probably means I am either incredibly stubborn or I just hate myself that much.
In any case, I've been around here and there for a while, but I guess I never introduced myself. Maybe this fixes things? I don't know.

Sometimes, I get better upload than this, but it's still more than sufficient for streaming since I don't play any games in HD.
