I remember playing this game as a kid, and there is a "No Goalies" mode. It can be acessed by holding A and B on both controllers, and pressing Start on controller 1(This needs to be done on the title screen). Well, it could be a Win with No Goalies%, should be fun, and more challenging(Kinda)! Well, running around your goal(As a "stall" strat) should be banned too, it would make it too easy :P

Wouldn't the "killing enemies" rule only apply to some kind of "Pacifist" category? Anyway, it would be interesting to see some "challenge" categories, and how the routes would change with the new rules.

So... The game is just dead for now?

I heard that there are some glitches involving Ariel turning around to cancel her throwing animation(For example, to do a "Bubble cancel" you press backwards + A on the same frame, then quickly hold forward to keep running. Could be useful on some stages where you're forced to bubble, like Stage 2. There is a "Quick backthrow" too, which is done with an item. The input is the same, but you can use diagonals to throw. Not sure if it would be useful on the run somehow, but I tested on an emulator, and everything works). Would that be allowed on a run? If it is, I think someone could beat the WR(Or the holder could get a better time, don't know).

As said before, some wall jumps and mashing were just perfect(Humanly possible? Not sure). When I watched the comparison video, I was just like: "How did he got all of that in 1 hour? I don't even know how to wall climb consistenly yet!" That's suspicious for sure. For that MUGEN game at the end, not sure what was the purpose of that(I mean, he/she just put it there with no reason, and did some stuff with an Iori-based character. He could just stop streaming, really). Maybe he recorded his own inputs before doing the run? That could explain how he splitted so fast, if it isn't a TAS. I know that that's possible on most emulators(Actually, that's how I post my runs here: I record my own inputs on FCEUX first, then I record the screen while splitting. Why? Well, the recorder lags the game if I use a big screen, so I'm forced to use a small screen if I wanted to play while recording, which sucks, so I record the inputs first - with a maximized screen - to avoid any lag problems, finish it, switch to a small screen, and then I use my own video recorder. I don't think that's relevant, that's just a thing that came on my mind.) Well, I don't think that Sanaefroggy's run is legit.

I'm a Ninja Gaiden runner(Still on the learning ropes, got my first run - 14:11 - recently), and I was looking for something "similiar" to run(I don't plan on running it now, I still want to learn more about NG first). Well, I found this game, played it casually(I'm playing the Original version; I didn't enjoy playing as Jenny too xD), and I kinda got interested on running it(Again, not now), but I don't know how to begin, as there are no guides! I know, I could just watch the WR run, but how can a newcomer know what he is doing? I just need some information, like a beginner route for a stage(Any stage), useful(And useless) glitches/mechanics for the run and such things. Really, any information will help me for sure, and I'm gonna write everything here! (This thread can be useful for other newcomers, of course. I could even make my own beginner guide using your information as a base if I understand everything!)
