Due to the big visual and gameplay update that occurred back in October 2021, the entire leaderboard will be wiped and a new leaderboard will be created. The rules will be updated and listed under each category over the next few days. If you would like to request a new category, please post it in THE NEW FORUM POST I WILL MAKE SHORTLY. This will just be a locked thread so you understand what is happening.
Thank you for your patience <3 -Squid
I have a document currently in the works. If you are interested in helping me, feel free to DM me on discord :)
Well, as of the other day the list is a bit different now.
TLDR: The Starf Berry is collectable from a giant tree in the Crown Tundra, so now we can cut out 160 battles and only need to get max rank in both singles and doubles.
We should be able to collect every berry type normally throughout the game since all obtainable gives a lot of different items/berries, so it should be much easier now to finish this.
The reason for the battle tower is:
- The only way to get a Starf berry is through the battle tower
- It is a part of the game, not too heavy in terms of RNG based
- Long, but it’s still doable and doesn’t have to be 200 straight wins
Trust me I’m not keen on doing it myself, but I still would do it in any other game that involves 100%
I already have an idea for 100% in the works currently. I'll post all the requirements below:
Any% Post Game DLC Story (Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra) All Obtainable Pokemon-Galar Dex, IoA Dex, and Crown Tundra Dex All TR's All TM's All Rotom Rally Races Talk to all the Poke Ball Guys (meme mainly) All Curry Dex Battle Tower 200 wins in one format, max rank in the other (get a starf berry at the 200th win in one format) All Trainers All Clothes All Side Quests (there's a letter quest and a few others i think) All In Game trades Restricted Sparring All Digletts (the alolan diglett guy)
The current estimate for all of this is 45-50 hours
and no wifi is allowed. All of this must be done either solo or with someone else. The current name for it is "Most of the stuff" since you can't obtain all the pokemon in one file without connecting online
I think it would be fine to add to the leaderboards. For now, I will add a 50 level and 100 level Master Cafe Mode onto the leaderboards and make a basic leaderboard for it. For consistency, it will be the first 50 levels and first 100 levels respectively.
Also feel free to join the side games discord to talk with me much quicker than here :)
Considering that Mobile would need to keep their save file/their game on their device, This is an interesting idea but the only way to "reset" your runs for PB attempts is by deleting the app. This would be a good idea if we could reset data faster and easier than what is currently known about it
NotHunter, we were able to replicate the Early Slurpuff glitch you found on IOS. I am unsure how exactly I did it, and neither did you, so I would like to propose for the 5 staff members runs to be early slurpuff and non early slurpuff categories in order to account for the fact that it can save 2.5 minutes.
This would require restructuring the leadboards, but I think it would be fine to do. If anyone is up for discussion on this, please discuss either here or in the discord :)
If someone other than yourself can recreate the early skip, then we will consider making subcategories. We don’t want to make subcategories for something that may just be a glitch/bug in the app itself
If you have any suggestions for category proposals for the game, please reply below with the request and either a run completed by yourself or a picture of the splits to showcase a potential time for the run idea itself. A video is highly preferred in order for Mods to see the actual run, but if it is a longer category we understand.
Update 2021: Feel free to request any ideas for categories for the new version of the game :)
WE WILL NOT make any categories an official category until a run has been completed, excluding the beginning of the game's lifespan on Speedrun.com
Overall, low chances in every area, but it is possible anywhere you go. Any Brilliant Aura pokemon will have 3 perfect IV's
well if you want to talk at all about it i'd be glad to discuss it :)
There should be a guide in the "Guides" section that has a route mostly figured out except for the final fight, which uses eternatus
