100 Cans would make a great game to set up a Super Smash TV style bracket Tournament!

If you'd be interested in playing in a best of 3 100 Can Event please reply / react to this forum. If we get a group of 10 plus players we can then try and find a re-streamer and organize a the first event.

I was thinking if someone could post a guide on how to start running snowboarding any% on duckstation , perhaps even uploading a good to go save file. This would help bring non FFVII vets into the snowboarding mini game. I speedrun some retro games and was interested in going for some snowboard % but realized it was going to take some set up and there was no guide on how it works. Thanks for anyone that could with this. Again, it would probably get more attention to the category off the bat having a new forum post about it at the very least and it would be a fun "pop it in and do some runs " type run for a new player if there was a small guide for it here.

To be honest man, this reply is not worded well enough for me to understand the mechanics of this completely but thanks. I will now have something to google to find out how it works . Maybe if you see this could you list like a very detailed list of inputs that is going on like "

  1. Press weapon swap key, very short wait 2.Use Zeal 1 time w/ right click 3.Let go of right click and Press weapon swap key again 2x times, very short wait 4 use zeal 1 time w/ right click (maybe list the location of the click and if a menu is open)

type deal or maybe just link me the best video , guide on swap casting . Thanks again my dude!

Was watching Bender's WR runs and he seems to do some flying around the screen that isn't charge. @ the start of his Act III on this 1:37 HC run for example. he seems to be swapping weapons and all the sudden starts flying around. I was learning the Barbarian strats and never really played a Paladin casually so I was surprised when I seen the movement in the speedrun. is there glitches involved or is this just standard practice? I took notes on the exact build, all the items of interest type deal but now need to know how to use the skills to optimize this moveset. Thanks dudes!

Yo man, thanks a ton. I think I have the general mind set down. When moving left or right you can sort of develop the muscle memory to open the opposite menu and try to "click move click ... click move click" type thinking.

I have been learning the any% strats / maps / builds type deal from the guides/ youtube/ peoples runs but I still don't have the "advanced mouse use" down. it must be a combo of thinking " I am moving to the right now , quickly ID that, quickly load up that potion" I have seen people swap weapons around and do all sorts of menuing and never really full stop ... is it all about keeping left click held down until the very last second? It seems like diablo unclicks left mouse button when pressing right mouse ? Idk maybe if one of the mods on here can shine some light on it . Do you have to have an ability set on the right bottom that targets in such a way to give the player more movement before the hard stop? Perhaps its more of having a higher DPI mouse and sort of clicking the a far edge of the screen, then very very quickly clicking around in inventory w/ a combo of one of the above mentioned ? Thanks for any info on this. it it really is just a feel thing perhaps the "mindset / general strat" would be nice.

I have knowticed that many of the top speedgames have found new glitches / expliots / despawns/ ACE in resent years but nothing w/ ghouls! Made me think to spark up the notion of some of these top TAS'ers that find stuff for SM, CV, other nes games like NG to take a fresh look on SGnG! Anyone here reading this post looked into screen-wraps/ clips/ despawns/ out of bounds major glitches for SGnG ? I am sure there has been some "digging" but has anyone recently just hardcore looked for new ways to break the game ? I was thinking of reaching out to some of the modern TAS'ers for these other top games , people that really know there hex values and how to find new glitches and have them take a look. Surely there must be some cool stuff out there for this early SNES title . Maybe if the right person got interested in searching something new could be found. maybe a screenwrap to despawn bosses? Maybe new strange clips that fling you up the tower walls/ idk it seems like this game hasn't been broken in a while!

I used to play this game quite a bit (probably over 200 hours) when it came out and got to the point of clearing the game on hard-mode w/ most of the mechs and even getting some pretty fast 7 floor clears w/ the Zephyr class. Recently this year I have started speedrunning other twinsticks and submitting runs for XenoCrisis, Smash TV and Enter the Gungeon and now was interested in returning to Starward. A few of my twitch friends would most likely start submitting runs on here in the coming days , myself included and tought of reaching out on this forum to try and mod the board / set up more categories . I plan on doing normal and hard% and wanted to make a more clear guidelines for the "rules " section on here and be a part of the growth process for this game. A new patch 2.6 just randomly came out of nowhere and seems to be the devs love letter and attempt to further polish this gem of a game so perfect time to have a few more players on here.

Hey cool Stunt. Probably epic for you Hyper being one of your favorite hacks. I am glad I posted this here for the community . I am currently just grinding sections of the SM practice hack but am for sure going to pick up a Project Base hack after I get in the 44.0x range for KPDR and Hyper is probably going to be the one for just how well made it is and its not as vanilla to change it up a bit.

I found this patch and it seems to not effect anything besides cosmetics and maybe but don't know for sure the cut-scene timing if anything. I wanted to start running hyper and wanted to know if we can set up a way for this sound fix mod to be allowed and have the top runners consider this version for the leaderboard. https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/3706/ Stunt SR was talking in his chat that he 'would run a version of the game that didn't have that sound if possible " and he being one of the mods and top runners of the game could make the edit to the rules to allow it
