Agree. I'm considering just ordering a PS1 copy and moving there since as I understand, that problem didn't exist.

I didn't notice slower transitions, but you're probably right with it causing misclicks. I've not discarded the wrench at Gas Station. LOL.

Out of all the versions I've watched being run, Dreamcast is probably the worst simply because transitions are 2x long.

That sounds like it'd be awkward to arrange. I'll need something that can keep my phone stable so it doesn't fall mid-run. I believe there's a holder for that. It's interesting to experiment with. I'll look into it.

I'm waiting to see if anything can be done about black screens. I feel like the console has to be upgraded or something along those lines. I don't know.

I barely beat WR just an hour ago by 6 seconds despite two black screen occurrences, though the only proof I can provide is a photo I took of the result screen on my TV, so it can't be submitted due to me not having video equipment. It's still frustrating. We shouldn't be robbed of our best performances. I was lucky it didn't freeze again.

I'm new to the speedrun scene, so apologies if the answer to this is common knowledge, or if there's no solution, which I hope isn't the case.

I have been having the most miserable luck in regards to black screens. The PS3 version has a chance of freezing for around 10 seconds upon grabbing an item/entering menu. I get at least 2 every single run, sometimes as many as 5. And they count in-game time, which is incredibly stupid.

I'm really hoping this issue can be erased and I won't have to pray for 2 run-breaking RNGs, the other being the Magnum/GL, because it isn't working. I notice other PS3/PSN runners aren't getting black screens, so is this something that purchasing and installing something on the PS3 can fix? Can I do anything to upgrade the port's functionality?
