Yeah I think I looked into it a while back and there were quite a lot of differences between the two. Can't for the life of me remember much else than that. xD

Hey man, Sorry for the wait on this. I've checked it with the other Sims mods and they've added some rules regarding netplay. So long as your run matches these rules you're good to go.

Rules regarding Netplay/Multiplayer:

While most communities offer a Multiplayer Experience for our games, we of course, have decided that the use of Netplay is allowed. Do not worry, Local Gameplay with both players in the same room is and always will be approved.

The only EMU that will be allowed is Dolphin Emulator in this case. You will also need to ensure:

You use the exact same ISO File You use the exact same EMU Version (ex: Dolphin 5.0 or Dolphin 5.0-12901) All Settings are synced between host (player 1) and player 2, via the "Strict Settings Sync" option

All the rules also detailed in the post above this will also apply and need to be followed.

In this case as well, both POVs need to be recorded and submitted together for a run to be approved on the boards. NOTE: It is still only 1 submission but you add Player 2's Perspective to the description of the run.

Therefore, the following categories are now brought into line with this change:

Urbz Sims in the City: Any% (2 Player) and 200% Game Completion (2 Player)

If any other game is affected, please message me seperately on Speedrun.com or make a forum post to your games particular board.

The timer stops when the cutscene triggers (where you sim walks down the stairs). I'll retime the ending of the run for you. Congrats on WR dude. :)

I don't agree with removing EMU and VC times. Allowing EMU and VC runs allows more people to get into speedrunning the game which should be the main aim of the community. If EMU and VC got banned then it would particularly affect PAL runners as getting hold of a NTSC N64 and game will cost a fair amount of money. The previous posts pretty much say everything I was thinking so no need to write more.

Hey could someone help me out with OBS. not sure how to get it to capture the top of the window. Whenever I put window capture on it automatically crops it.

Whoops forgot to leave some feedback. I don't really have any negative feedback for the event, everything from what I could tell ran very smoothly and to plan. I would possibly recommend maybe 1-2 more practice TV's if possible next time since there were points where no TV's were available (3 TV's from what I can remember). Apart from that the event was great and I had an amazing time hanging out with you guys! :)

Any more info on the airbeds? May need to borrow one if there is one available.

I think one race has been submitted like that. It should be fine to do but i'd double check with Planks or Edenal.
