XTerminator How many shots you actually need to use? Is it the same 5-6 shots and rest knife attacks like in your strats? This is good to know, it takes some extra time to loot those bullets. And I didn't know it was reliable with just thrusting, is it faster than doing the swings? And did you find consistent Mia strats? I have been testing it quite a bit but still no luck with 100% reliable strat :/

XTerminator I really hope you can find good new Mia strat, it's problem for me too. It's never guaranteed 2 hit and resetting at Mia and watching all the cutscenes again is so frustrating..

XTerminator, your strats worked fine most of the time but Jack 2 was still the biggest run ender for me. About aiming upward, I did it for hit reliability. Not sure if there is similiar thing happening as with Mia axe fight but it works :)

I did some testing and found new, easily replicated strat for Jack 2 for New Game easy runs (one cycle). I was able to do it 5 times in a row in training and also during my PB run later. Here is video how to do it:

I agree with CursedToast, making it sub-category would make a lot of sense.

I started watching the current Madhouse NG WR run by Senpou and it is clear that it is segmented run, it is stated in the youtube video description and you can clearly see cut in 58:17 (after the lucas video). It says in the rules no loading and single segment only, so I think this run should be disqualified..?

This same OoB happened to me in my first speedrun attempt. I moved mouse fast to left when it happened, not sure if that helps to replicate it. I wasn't able to move, just fell down and teleported back to elevator.

Excellent guide! I will try this out soon, at best I have been able to one cycle him maybe 20% of the time so this is very useful information. And gratz for the new WR :)

Thanks for making this CursedToast, it's making speedrunning this game a lot more fun! I have the latest version (2.3.4) and I still have problems in the following splits:

1. Jack 3 is splitting early (when ethan says "this is getting old jack" and not when he is injected.
2. Retrieved fuse is not splitting and it splits when I take the fuse first time from the room with the mold monster even though I have not selected it from the list (only retrieve fuse checked from list).
3. Evie injected doesn't split I have double checked that the correct splits have been checked from the list and this happens every time.
