I have a question about the category. For what purpose should we add it? In Any% you already do this Dino Domain movement and it's similar in 100%. We do not want to add lots of random categories for no good reason, so I wanna hear you out! :D
Ideas for categories are always good though, we are not against adding more categories if they have a good reasoning for being on here.
You should attempt to do the other categories that already exist too, so you can get into the competition. From the looks of the video, you have good confidence and want to go for WRs :P

It is possible to require verification and at the same time not require video proof. If the problem would grow larger, that could be a solution as well.
It is not possible to T.T stomp into all bosses. The trick is not possible to perform in hover, so Bubbler can't be beaten that way. The loading zone for the 2nd boss race only exists after you have beaten the coin challenges, so that would also be something that makes this impossible. All versions of the game are under the same category, making another Any% category for 1.0 would just be too arbitrary. I understand that it sucks that you bought the 1.0 version, but we are not gonna change that. The JP version is always gonna be the best, so aim on getting that one! It's possible to play it on your American console if you do a small physical mod on the cart or the console.

Well, it's not like those things were non-controversal when they voted for FFM to go through. I personally do not agree with the BK community, but since I'm not into that game I can't make that decision. People who are into the game and active in the community can. And we have never said that this category should never appear on the leaderboard, if you read the entire post I made you could see that we could add it as a misc category if people want in on there. But it's still abusing a save file, so we do not consider it being regular Any%. Some communities have separate categories for different consoles, some do not. Some communities allow menu manipulations, some do not. Some communities allow save file abuse, some do not. Communities have different views on what's right and wrong, and we have our view on what we think is best for DKR.
Can you show me a video of this, Xcvazer? This is the category I am referring to: . And this uses exactly what I was explaining earlier. You need a save file with the lighthouse already gone for this category, otherwise you won't be able to enter Future Fun Land. But we could definitely discuss adding it as a misc category :)
And you are referring to two different things, Jumpyluff. Pre-existing data and save file abuse are two different things. The difference is that T.T will still be on the cartridge if you delete all save files, while the Any% WW category won't be possible to perform if you do so.
Well, you do use wrong warps in the regular Any%. So it already does exist.
But if you are referring to the category that's ~3 min long; since this category requires abuse of an existing save file, we have considered this category to not be legit. You also actively abuse the Tracks mode, which also could be seen as a problem due to Any% being an Adventure mode category. But maybe we could add it as a misc category if enough people think it should be in.
And Jumpyluff, not sure why you are jumping to conclusions and being semi-aggressive, but we are always open to new suggestions. This does not mean that all categories you ask for will get accepted though. Having Adv1/Adv2 as sub categories is an option, but since no one runs the Adv2 ones we do not see a point. We tried having Adv2 100% as a regular category, but it has only gotten three people to submit times in total (and two of these were from a race to fill it). So we might push this down to misc, depending on what people think.

I would be interested in knowing why you would want this to be a category. If we are gonna add another category, we need good reasons for it!
This question has been raised a couple of times on my stream, but not officially. It is a very good question, so it is important to discuss it.
This is what I think: Will this category ever have competition even close to the original Adventure 1? I would never see myself grinding this category, and I don't think many of the current runners would either. The category is very similar to the original 100% and since the game already is tough to learn and improve in, it would feel (for me) like a waste of time to learn the tracks mirrored. Adventure 2 is a great addition to the casual play and is definitely a challenge, but for speedrunners this is not really the case. So I think that if we would add it, it would just be something very similar to regular 100%, but slower and with very few of the current speedrunners (except Obiyo) trying to do serious attempts.
These are just my thoughts of the matter, and I would just be happy to be wrong. If there is a great interest in this category existing, then it should exist.

If you come with requests about categories, we will discuss them. But they must be relevant, not just made up to make it easier to do "speedrun looking" runs. I have already discussed this with Habbe on Skype, so he knows the deal.
And for Andy, you are wrong when you say that you have been totally ignored. I have been talking to you about it multiple times and you know exactly what you should do if you want it changed. Do not forget that you are able to submit times for the balloon races, they are not closed in any way.

Oh well, to your question. We have discussed the categories a lot before, and we do not want to add another category. A glitchless category would be very hard to define and since the community is small, we do not want to create unnecessary categories. May I ask you the reason of you not using wrong warps and out of bounds glitches?
