I never put the halflingmain.omp inside the playermap.omp. I deleted the original HalflingMain.omp and put a copy of Playermap.omp in its place. I then renamed the copy of Playermap.omp to HalflingMain.omp. Then when in the game I selected Mellow Hills and the Developer loaded instead.

Hey guys, today I discovered something interesting. It turns out that you can move levels around and rename them and the game will still load them. Here, for example, I replaced HalfingMain.omp in the maps folder within the game files with Playermap.omp and renamed the new Playermap.omp in the Main Domain directory to HalflingMain.omp. This also allows you to play co-op maps solo however when doing this the game tends to crash fairly easily. It's still interesting and should make it easier to do glitch hunting now that we can essentially use it as a level select.

I did the routing for any% for the most part. It could absolutely use more optimization.

If you try to fight Sir William before defeating the succubus and stealing its statue in the inn you'll find the drawbridge to the citadel is closed.

I've looked around heavens peak for an alternate entrance to skip the understreets but haven't found anything yet.

I'll have to test the wizard fight a little bit to see if any of the hives could be skipped. Maybe if you can manage to get a minion to jump the gap by the wheels?

Here are a few random things I've found playing around with hacks.

There's nothing super interesting though. As for the bridge, I haven't found any way to get a minion across. Even placing 30 greens on guard markers across the entire edge and using confusion on the sheep doesn't seem to work. If we could get one minion across to turn the wheel we can skip Sir William, the inn, heavens peak, and the brewery which could potentially bring the any% run to under 2 hours.

I don't think I speak for everyone, but I think the best way to improve this speedrun and maybe bring in new players is to find skips or tricks that can be used during the run. Right now the only sections we really skip are the troll fight in the slave camp and the swamp section of Evernight. I've been playtesting a lot recently looking for anything useful; The biggest potential skip I've found is the bridge that connects the golden hills stronghold to the golden hills pass. If you can manage to get a single minion across the bridge to turn the wheel you can skip the majority of heavens peak (excluding moist hollows), the sir William fight, and the dwarven brewery. I might make a video on some of the odd things I've found if anybody is interested.
