Emulators are banned due to MotionPlus. There are still many inaccuracies with the emulation of this accessory that have significant gameplay changes, so it cannot be allowed
To learn the order of the i-points, you should look at the 2-Cycle route guide posted in the Guides section. You will also need to practice a lot before being able to pull it off. It may be a good idea to just try improvising a 3-cycle route to familiarize yourself with the movement and locations

Instead of creating different categories, something like in MG:TT could be done (https://www.speedrun.com/mgtt). Other games, like PvZ, have different platforms listed as different games (https://www.speedrun.com/pvzs)
That being said, I don't think having subcategories for different versions is a good idea. It would make the board look cluttered and create a bunch of categories without any runners. Just saying what platform the game is being played on in the submission is good enough imo
ILs could be fun and bring new runners who don't like doing full game runs into the game
Timing would be easy as the game has an in-game timer and it shows you your final time when a level is completed
There could be two categories: one for just comppleting the level, and one for getting OCD.
