I was thinking to do a tutorial for speedruning NG+ Pro on PS4 but i don't think i would be really useful, what do you guys think?

Hi there, i was training in smb3 and learning speedrun strats,then i thought to myself : Is there a way to get P-speed faster in 3-9? And that's what i came up with. Let me know what you guys think of that. (I'm sorry if it was already suggested somewhere i'm new to Smb3 speedrun community) thank you in advance.

I want to start running but i only have FCEUX, will the run be valid? And why is there two emulators that are banned? (Sorry if my english isn't perfect lol)

Personally i can do it in 2 runs of the game, you just have to pick up every treasure and buy as litlle as your comfortable with. Also don't overuse grenades.

I suggest to finish the game in Pro first, since you can have the PRL for free and do the whole second run with it and not waste any money.

Personally i can max at least one weapon to help me out on the first run(like the TMP or the Red9)

Sounds hard but it's not that complicated, in about 2x4hours you can do it no problem.

It doesn't seem to work for me , i can't submit any run from LiveSplit. All it says is "You need to specify the platform of the game" even though it's already specified. i'm kinda lost there

The thing is that it's supposed to be single segmented runs, which means that You have to prove you did it all in one go. And by saving each chapter ,you can, if you wanna, reset and just restart the chapter you failed and that's prohibited in a single segment (What you do is called a multi segment if you want) A good way to keep track of time is by having a PC next to you with splits of each chapter (like Wsplit, or any other)

Edit: For example i started my runs on PS2 by doing the same as you, but i knew that i couldn't submit it, so i started with splits and did it in one go, let's say you are in a "training" mindset.

Hi, i'm about to move from ps2 and buy the ps4 version and i saw that PC had leaderboards, does the ps4 version has it too?

Hello, i was finishing my run of S-rank Hidden mansion and i was clearing the Van Gore room with fire so it could be a little easier, and then this happened. Weird glitch but i do not think that it's some what useful, it was for clearing all 5 Banana ghosts but not in any other way. Here's the video: (Read description as well if you want further more details) so yeah pretty fun to see.

I'll practice a lot and if i can do it, practice until I'm confident to do it in runs, thanks ^^
