Yeah, it's possible only on very early Wii models which mine happens to be FYI, but that's besides the point. Ordered a new disc from eBay.
No problem, I suppose I could use my English disc for now then. Thanks guys!
Hey guys,
So long story short I haven't ran this game in over a year so I've misplaced my LM disc. What would be the legitamcy of a run using a burned copy with homebrew? IMO it should have the same read speeds and thus no advantage over official disk.
(And yes, I do plan on buying a replacement disc soon.)
It would be nice too to get built in Twitch streaming support like PS4 and XB1 (even though it doesn't at launch.) It would make the Switch easily the most popular choice for new runners that don't have the hardware already. That being said LM even coming to Switch isn't entirely confirmed yet so let the waiting continue.
I know this is a very old thread, but I also have been using a DVC100 since December and if you buy yourself an S-Video adapter for the Wii you can get 480p out of it. Highly recommended.
Also was wondering if I should delete my old run or not since it was on USB. Not that 101st place is exactly tipping the scales anyways...
Hey guys, been out of the scene for a while (since before USB loading was banned.) Anyways, I'm going to buy a JPN LM disc sometime soon, just wondering if it's allowed to use homebrew to launch it region-free on a US Wii or not. It's still from disc so I wouldn't see why not. Right now I've been stuck running English version (not that I've PB'd since I've returned anyways...)
What about nintendon't on Wii U? I recorded my first run today on Wii Dios Mios but I'd like to be able to use my Wii U if it's allowed for future runs.
